I love being contrained by minimalistic restraints when improvising. I was enjoying hanstimm's machine sounds so , using only the loop function of this site, i made an improvisation using his 'machine' pack.

I decided to tinker around on an old kid's practice first act piano. There are metal rods inside that are struck, and produce a plink/ringing sound. It is also out of tune, which makes it wonderful for producing an eerie feeling when played in a minor key.

Recorded using an alesis qs8 keyboard using a direct signal. This sound file is unedited so you will most likely hear mistakes or musical nonsense. This sound file is not a performance but rather a practice session that have been recorded for later listening and reference. This sound file can be used in accordance with the freesound. This is a warm up thing i do its derivative of thunderkiss '65 by white zombie its really funky and fun to improv with that little riff they got going on in that song. Not the best but i wanted to test the direct recording of my new focusrite, if you have any requests please let me know i'm trying to challenge myself as a new guitarist so if you have something in mind let me know.

This is the first of a bunch of theremin improv loops i'm doing. If you don't know what a theremin is use google. This was played on an etherwave standard.

This is a recording i ade of my drum kit back in 2014 after receiving a new snare drum. Note that the head that came on the snare has since been replaced, so a new recording may be in order at some point.

I recorded this quick improvisation with my built-in laptop microphone and track monitoring on in reaper, which resulted in it sounding washed-out, warped, and screechy in the high end. At the beginning you hear the distorted wail of a left click initiating the recording. Somebody walks into the living room at the end and we share an exchange. I didn't add any effects or edit this audio in any way, it's just a fun experiment. Let me know if you use this for something!!!!!.

This sound was recorded december 11, 2013, using an alesis qs8, a roland 550w keyboard amp, the dm1 app for the ipad 2, an m-audio preamp, and multitrack recording software: sonar 6 studio.

I was messing around with harmonics and came up with this, hope you enjoy it is free to use but if you use it in a game or something can i at least see it? :).
