This is a completely custom kick i made from scratch using a drum synthesizer and also mixed and edited with a waves puigtech eq modeled after the famous pultec eq and a waves puigchild compressor modeled after the famous $30,000 fairchild compressor. The sample rate is 24 bit/48k and a headroom of -6 or 3db i cant quite remember but nonetheless more than under clipping. Give me some feedback and let me know if its good and i'll upload more for you guys. Peace.

A minimal drone. Might need some eq-ing. The frequency analysis reveals an extreme graph. A both extreme and minimal sound. Will anybody download it?.

A lot of eq-ing, layering, and saturation was done on this snare, thought it sounded nicer than snare 1, but snare 1 is more malleable than this snare when it comes to mixing it, since snare 1 is way less filtered.

A short recording of construction work on a ten-storey apartment building in the blackhorse road area of walthamstow, london. General construction noises. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution. If any of these sounds have been of help, and you are feeling charitable, please do consider donating to freesound to help keep the site running (a link is also on the home page). Any donations are greatly appreciated!.
