49 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Big Bang"

This is a project i worked on for my electronic music composition class. It was made using audacity. It is comprised of 27 different sound tracks. 2 of these tracks use sounds created/recorded by users "shoba" and "branrainey" of freesound. Org (shoba's 'sending machine. Wav' and branrainey's 'cansound. Wav'. The other sounds are of my own creation or recording.

This is a background piece, i used for a section of a book, we read in a music piece. The prose isn't included here. The sound is a representation of the big bang and what follows.

I found a lonesome party popper in my garage - recorded it wrongly sorry! should have shot it away from the mic rather than at it - get a big rush of air!. Sony minidisc.

I tried to make a sort of explosion w/ my voice, and added a compressor, reverb, a little bit of distortion, quicker tempo, and i lastly slowed it down.

Heres a quality fat "street" beat ready for use in a aggressive hip-hop or big-beat production. Long sample containing subtle variations and a ending tail fx. This is the first version of cannon. Wav. I tried to make a sort of explosion with my voice, and added a compressor, reverb and a little bit of distortion. Slow mo cannon. Wav was edited a bit more.

Hitting an old, empty oil drum lost in some old woods in various ways (on my palm, knuckle, with a stick, etc) to make different deep bass noises. Natural reverb since it was in a large open space.

A mix of synthesized sounds, sounds from freesound, a bit of clever phase and amplitude modulation, and a f®©k-ton of ambience editing. Sounds like someone observing an explosion from far away whilst inside a building. Windy suburban night. Recorded from a upstairs bedroom window with a h4n. Wind chime. Cars passing by in the distance. Metallic bang from garden ornament. A tiny bit of wind artifact which the rycote wind jammer didn't catch. Crickets singing happily. Very big gush of wind can be heard near the end of the sound file.

Skewer slam is a combination of my knife sharpening sounds and metallic impacts/wobblers (some not yet uploaded here!) to create a sesnsation of something big, intense and lethal coming towards whoever it either find offensive or is ambulatory. As a personal note; the distortion you hear is not because of clipping in the initial recording but because of the higher acoutistic resonance and limiters applied which will not sound like this when downloaded.

A soundscape conveys our interpretation of the origin of universe. It mixes scientific, vedic hinduism and creative approaches. Starting from the very beginning (big bang and “om” sound), passing through the universe expansion and focusing mostly on earth evolution, including molten rock and floods eras, as well as sounds from living creatures. We used a combinations of sounds from our custom pure data patches, vst synthesizers and a few samples from freesound. You can find the attribution below.

I was walking down some enclosed steps in a parking garage and i noticed that the metal handrail made a nice, big ringing-bell sound when i tapped it with my fingers, so i decided to record it. I used this sound in my movie, later that day (although i didn't intend to when i was making the recording). It's very musical - kinda reminds me of 'hells bells' by ac/dc. As already stated, he term, "pyew!" does not refer to a funky smell. Think of it as the sound bernadette (from big bang theory) makes when she's playing video games and trying to phonetically approximate the single shot of a ray gun or laser weapon. So in making a big huge video for my family, where i've filmed them doing certain things and not tell them why, to which i'll present the video when we all get together for christmas eve, 2019. Theres also a part where i hosted a picnic, filmed everyone, and then asked them to karate chop or kick towards the camera. The next day i went with a crew and filmed ninjas around the park. Edited together with the family attacking the ninjas then the ninjas falling back and exploding with a particle effect on after effects. This is the main sound heard when that happens. I made a few others using this base sound. While i'm bad myself at leaving comments, comments are always welcome to hear what someone used the sound for. Thanks.

Warning: careful when listening, it gets loud!. July 4th. Recorded in the midwest usa, where we adore our explosives. The omnis on my humble dr-05 did a pretty good job capturing the sheer depth of zillions of people blowing stuff up together :-). You’ll hear: people having a party in the distance, a bonfire crackling on the right, a distant train blowing its whistle, and of course a lot of explosions. A couple of the big bangs clipped, but unsurprisingly, it made no audible difference. I reduced to 48khz, 24 bit and normalized to -3. 0 db. It really wakes up when you apply some eq to your liking. But i left it as is for everybody.
