This is a single shot version of a star wars-type blaster i made by mixing the sound of a cable tap with a gunshot.

A laser noise created for my science fiction sitcom. The base was just a note from a vst synth (i can't remember which) and then a variety of pitch shifts, time stretches and layers of reverb until it sounded right.

This is my attempt at the iconic blade runner pistol. I did not used the original sound as a source because i wanted a more updated feel. I hope you enjoy.

Amateur guitar play from an old cassette (memorex 120, 1 of 2) recorded in 1984 when i was 15. Plucking 1 or 2 strings to a tune of my own making. This was an experimental recording session, using two tape recording machines. (ghetto blaster & hi-fi tower) take - 3 with takes 1 & 2 impositions playing, creating a final 3 track recording. Two previous takes (two track recording) playing, while recording a third track.

Sound of a loose metal spring being plucked with heavy reverb, could be a good sting for a horror sequence. If you find this handy, feel free to use for your project!.

Though i generally expect attribution for my sounds, almost every aspect of this sound was the product of dpren's superb "scifi gun - mega charge cannon". My only contribution was adding a bit more oomph to when the gun fires so it feels wrong to take any credit for their genius. Simple sci-fi blaster sound created by a pitch-shifted bass synthesizer and drums.

Nerf hammershot shooting without a dart in the drum. (dry fire). You can hear the air that would usually push the dart and some rattle caused by pulling pack the hammer. Recorded on sound devices 833 & neumann tlm 102.

This sounds were a mix of different recorded with tascam dr07,the sounds were achieved from:. --blowing on a sponge--swiping a finger on the wall--waving a cardboard for the low sound--dragging a brush on the wall--air sounds with pich bend effects and modulation fx. The sounds were mixed and edited in adobe audition.

Created using the korg electribe 2 (the synth variant) analogue modeling synthesis engine and fx. I recorded this sounds by a sound blaster live! soundcard in 2003, when i tested its highest sampling rate (96 khz). I used my philips sbc 3050 condenser electret microphone. Before uploading, in 2015, i applied a little noise reduction in audacity software.

Tram recorded in students' hostel, through the window, from the side of the street. 2004. Single generic mic, behringer vmx 100 as a preamp, computer with sound blaster card as a recorder. Mono recording, converted to stereo using panorama envelope and reverb. 44. 1khz, 16bit.

Old tape recording of 'motor vehicle' stationary with engine running, possible taxi. Recorded circa 1983, onto a memorex 120 tape, using a transistor radio/tape recorder (ghetto blaster) with built-in left & right microphones. 20 seconds is all that remains extant on what was longer at one time. If i remember it was recorded late at night outside my bedroom window, i'm quite sure it was a taxi. Location: middlesbrough, england, uk.
