68 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Bongo"

Testing the sennheiser mke 2002 binaural microphones (circa 1973), playing bongos resting on my lap. The microphones are designed to be mounted either on a dummy head or - as i use them here - a user's own ears. Binaural recordings require headphones for full effect.

Created using builtin sounds from lmms, with automation of highpass filters applied and then further edited in audacity for such things as the reversed parts.

Like it says in the title i was playing with conga and bongo loops, than i got bored and improvised a 2part guitar lick over it. It loops if you want to.

Mozambique primary bell pattern above a rumba clave. A two bell pattern played on the body and rim of a single mambo bell or high and low bongo or cha-cha bells.

Simple 2 step house loop. Feel free to use however. Compiled with ableton live 9 using some modified stock percussion loops and some royalty free dw kick samples from ultimatemetal. Com.

3 gal. Bucket with a sony voice recorder placed on the inside. Edited with sony sound forge, eq to get rid of the crappy voice recorder sounds and added time compress 85% of original, bend pitch and reverse on end. Also added stereo pan.

Field recording of tam tams, an open drum circle, which takes place every sunday in mont royal park. Recorded on sunday, october 1st in montreal. There were approximately 30 people drumming and playing on a variety of instruments, such as jembe, bongo, bells, trash bin, saxophone, etc. Mic: zoom h1.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 48khz using a rode nt1-a condenser microphone. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

Using strike function on the cš-l wavefolder with tempi sequenced by rené passed through struck optomix erbe-verbe and mimeophon. Morphagene running max. Wave folder strike tempo. The secret´s in the erbe-verb marbling. (ratio between size, speed and pre-delay). Splice is morphagene oven-ready with markers set. Enjoy hot!.

Playing bongos.

This is a loop i made using toy bongos and using a bunch of effects. Use for whatever (just give me a heads up). Thanks and enjoy.

Radio station.

4 measures of dance groove, drums+percussions (bongos, woodblocks), at 120 bpm, eqd and reverbed.

Beginning of an arrangement of afro blue using a 5/4 time signature. Piano (roland xv5080 + studiologic sl73 controller), bass (sadowsky 5 string), bongos (toca percussion). Recorded to sd card using a zoom r16 digital 8-track (44. 1khz, 16 bit wav format). Mixed using goldwave.

Percussion made in blok modular. Kind of morphs around but plenty of bongos and some kind of shaker towards the end. You can maybe get a couple of claps out of the end part too. Sometimes sounds a little too fm-y (think sega genesis sounds) but others sound pretty organic imo.

I've never seen anyone really lose it like this before, particularly, this guy. An hour or so later he's settled down, but still has occasional outbursts. I think if they had the fortitude to actually do this, they could feed the world's hungry with the profits. I don't see how they could pull it off.
