A recording of the upper pond in jones park, brunswick east made in january of 2023 on a pleasant summer's night around 10pm. I came for the wildlife, but also captured the sounds of city. Along with frogs, bats and insects you can hear music, a dog, a bicycle, traffic, and people. The conversation might not be suitable for children. The recording was made with the inbuilt stereo microphones of a zoom h5.

Wendell Hall performs I'm Tellin' The Birds, I'm Tellin' The Bees. He recorded it in 1926 for Brunswick Records and featured his famous whistling on it. The sound quality isn't the best, but it one of Hall's classic songs. Wendell Hall sing I'm Tellin' The Birds, I'm Tellin' The Bees, dass er 1926 für Brunswick Records aufnahm. Mit Halls bekanntem Pfeifen ist es einer seiner typischen Titel.

Bury Me Out on the Prairie by Bradley Kincaid. I'm not quite sure if this is the Gennett cut from 1928 or if it's a later Brunswick recording. Bury Me Out on the Prairie von Bradley Kincaid. Es ist nicht sicher, ob dies die Gennett-Aufnahme von 1928 oder eine spätere Brunswick-Einspielung ist.

This recording was made at a canal when it was reasonably dry. The canal has a road running parallel to it and above it. The side of that road has a largish (30cm?) pipe that drains water into the canal. I made this recording by holding my zoom h5 portable recorder in this pipe, and recording with the inbuilt stereo pair of microphones. You can hear the traffic passing above with the zoom of the occasional fast truck, but it's muted and it's echoing around the pipe. There's a hollow rumble running through the whole track. I made the recording in august (spring) of 2021 in brunswick west, australia.
