The front mikes faced the basilica. The rear mikes were fairly close to a building and captured an off axis recording of the original peals while the reflection off the building was on axis and is louder than the original peal. The two files can be combined for a surround image.

We spent the afternoon at the ruins of the abandoned radarstation on the top of teufelsberg in berlin.
