I recorded from huawei p40 lite me calculating the prices of the products with the special machine, and in the end to cutting and give the receipt to the customer.
Opening a cash register drawer. Beep then receipt printer spins up and the drawer slides out. Spring loaded clips flipped to take cash. Drawer slammed shut.
It's a recording of a modern portable cash register printing a daily report. Then the paper tape is ripped of. There are funny frequency effects caused by the paper tape getting longer and resonating different frequencies. The sound have not beet piped through any processing. Recorded with a hand-held zoom h2's rear mics. Originally 96khz/24-bit wav. Edited and converted to flac using audacity.

Sounds at a grocery store checkout complete with beeps and some music in the background. The cashier first greets the customer with a "bonjour/hi" a typical bilingual greeting in quebec. The sounds near the end are the customer (me) pushing the cart away from the cash with the next client's beeps heard a little more faintly. Recorded on a samsung galaxy s3.
