The cast-iron gate at my door is very old and it will give out some queaking sound when being opened/shut.

In act i of leading ladies, the moose lodge members call out "awhoo". I recorded the cast making the call, which was then used during the performance. Recorded with a zoom h2.

For "young frankenstein" i recorded three cast members howling. For play back, i'd vary speakers, delay, volume and echo effects to get a nice surround and spooky sound, that sounded a little different each time.

The chorus of cicadas and frogs we hear every night just after sunset here in sub tropical queensland. Recorded directly to my computer by shoving an akg c451eb out our patio door. Keen ears will hear our cast miaow once.

This thought rarely assembles in my brain, but it's even rarer for it to work out. The sound is free but i do not recommend saying the words. It was a remark cast back over my shoulder, and sounds like it. Someone will probably have fun with this one.

I accidentally made this in audacity adjusting the tempo of a chime sound effect, but maybe it has uses elsewhere. Sounds to me like a game show "wrong answer" sound effect or a magic spell that fails to cast.

A sound i made that would be used for buffing spell in a game such as 'iron flesh' in skyrim. There are multiple layers of sword sounds i have recorded as well as some kick samples, reverse effects and some leather flapping. For the 2021 production of christmas carol i wanted to add some special effects. To create a ghostly voices saying ebenezer scrooge i recorded 10 different cast members, then i used audacity to add a little reverb and filter the voice using the frequency transform of a recording of wind. Then i played the voices while the wind was blowing.
