This is a recording done on top of castle hill of the ambience in cambridge. This was done for a radiophonic project for univeristy where my group created a soundwalk through cambridge up to castle hill. I made this by lowering the pitch and messing around with reverb of my cat.

A group of 5 people - 4 guards and 1 nun (woman), walking fast from the distance until near the mic, stop, and then one man moves forward. Walking with boots on stone floor, sound of metal, swords, armours mixed with the steps. Two men and the nun carried a wireless mic. Recorded with sound devices at 48k 24bit in 6 channels. This sound was recorded on a country road in scotland. It is the sound of rain water running off the hill side onto the road. It was done for the task of the week 2 - option b.

Recorded at a protest to save anvil hill, on the way to write out human sign that says "save anvil hill" - unfortunately the plans to build more mines has gone ahead.

A stereo wav recording from a zoom h1n during a thunderstorm today. One siren picks up followed by several more producing a convincing stereo image. I have done a basic bass roll-off, but have left it otherwise untouched. If you have a spectral editor you can probably clean out more of the noise, but i couldn't do so and keep the sirens sounding good.

Motorcycle dirt bike motocross approach climb hill struggle, stop.

A strong wind was blowing through the window and under the door. This created a mystic and weird sound. I added some reverb to it and now its a huge horror cave, where the wind is creating a frightening atmosphere.
