This is my recording of a cd case closing.

Me taking cd out from it's jewel case, then putting it to cd-player and pressing play buttorn.

Various versions of opening a normal dvd-case and taking out the cd was used to execute the sound. A zoom h6 recorder was used, with the xy capsule, in a normal room.

The sound of a cd case falling and hitting the ground. Could also pass for a disk, cassette, cartridge, or other small plastic object.

This is merely the sound of a cd case opening and closing (if anyone is interested, it was the cd for the ending theme of the cross ange anime, sung by eri kitamura, though that doesn't change the sound. . . )this kind of snapping sound can also be used for little things opening and closing. I used this sound for a medicine cabinet sound at one point.
