514 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Challenge"

My fmc002 submission!. For this, i generated several sounds from audiopaint (free software) and spectrobits (free vsti), two image->sound synthesis softwares. These sounded interesting but i wasn't sure how to use them. Then i made a drum beat, synth bassline, and some other stuff, rendered the song, used paulstretch to stretch the song out 4x, put it back in the project, added even more stuff to other tracks (mostly timestretched versions of my own samples), rendered the result, brought that render back into the daw, and then reversed it. A lot of effects and automation were also used during all 3 stages of the track's creation. Further, each time i rendered, i used the same mastering chain, so eq and other stuff is being applied multiple times. This brings out some surprising timbres and overtones. Really, the final recording sounds nothing like the sounds i began with.

He founded the rock band Doctor Nerve in 1983, the metal band Häßliche Luftmasken in 2011, the blackened grindcore band Vomit Fist in 2013, and is a member of the Fred Frith Guitar Quartet. He has composed for Bang On A Can All-Stars, Meridian Arts Ensemble, ETHEL, and others.

A remix of freesound 252834 and 17804. I took 252834 and course quantized it in goldwave, then lowered the volume and mixed it with some of the static from 17804. Then i played the mix through my computer speakers and recorded it with my webcam to immitate the cheesy fake apparatus used by the ghost hunters tv series and the like.

In order, my partner intervenes when a "big" guy is about to strike a girl. The one intervened-upon takes a step forward and my partner steps back. The other guy utters these recorded words. They were the last intelligible sounds from his mouth until some time after, presumably, he was horizontally loaded into this pretty red and white van with flashing lights. A fight? not really.

This is a warm up thing i do its derivative of thunderkiss '65 by white zombie its really funky and fun to improv with that little riff they got going on in that song. Not the best but i wanted to test the direct recording of my new focusrite, if you have any requests please let me know i'm trying to challenge myself as a new guitarist so if you have something in mind let me know.

Privatedareno2 - 3patches - 3min. A challenge kindly started by alienxxx \(^_^)/. Patch 1: the patch that was… a patch i did yesterday. Got that one for free, so to speak. Patch 2: inspired by distant airplanes. Had this in mind. Now i patched up my idea. The wind (or what you decide to call it) is controlled by alm pip slope. New module – for me. Used an external effect, the zoom ms-70cdr. Patch 3: read about feedback. I decided to do a feedback patch. First i made one using oscillators, but i did not manage to do something nice. So i used filters. The first filters feedback is generating triggers. Oh, yes, and i used my sampler (soundmachines ul1uloop). So three patches. I merged/mixed them together in audacity. All sound unedited. Just normalized and i have applied fade in/out – and mixed them together - as written.

Created this excerpt for my film "one thing". Melodic cello is used to create a doleful mood. Very lovely imo. Not a complete piece but a nice sound-bite? mp3. 120bpm. Created in garageband. Midnight recording from the streets of neukölln, berlin, on new years day 2009. In germany, this is the one day of the year when members of the general public are allowed to set off fireworks. Echoes of bombs and fusillades ring out across the city, while clouds of smoke tumble menacingly through the streets. Close by, a peaceful child sets off sparklers, and is astonished by the display. In the morning, the streets are littered with their remnants -- charred bits of paper, streaks of red ash. Recorded with an edirol r-09. From a contemporaneous news report:. "clashes in three german cities marred new year celebrations, with police facing their toughest challenge from a crowd of mostly young revellers in the capital berlin in the small hours of yesterday.
