I did not record this ambience sound! wtfi've left my zoom h1 recorder at a friends place for quite some while until i picked it up today. Accompanied by a few tracks that make sense to us i also found this record, which none of us (not me nor my friend) recognizes as their record. There were two files (which i recognize as takes), so it must be a part of a fictional flick. I've pulled them together here. Here's what i belief it is:ambience of a crime scene with cars approaching, motors running, people alighting and then talking. Seems like the police or other authorities just discovered a corpse.

I've benefited from freesound in the past so i wanted to give something back. I created this audio sample of the black speech of mordor (a section of the ring poem), as part of a cinematic orchestral lord of the rings piece to add flavour to it and wondered if others might find a use for it in their own projects. The sample does have added reverb but to my ears this is not excessive. The phrase is:-. Ash nazg durbatulûk,ash nazg gimbatul,ash nazg thrakatulûkagh burzum-ishi krimpatul. This translates to:-. One ring to to rule them allone ring to find themone ring to bring them alland in the darkness bind them. No attribution required but it would be nice to know if anybody uses it. ;-).

This sound was created as follows:. -zynaddsubfx free (and insanely amazing) software synthesizer generated simple g tone using a sine-wave adsynth engine- creative sbs 250 speakers played it back distorting the sound naturally and adding some interesting stereo phasing effects (is that caused by analog signal cable being longer for one speaker?)- i was manually changing the volume using the speaker's potentiometer (whitch is dirty and added some interesting noises on the right speaker, and also at peak loudness during the 54th second the right speaker is quiet)- the output was captured by zoom h2's rear mics- and recorded via usb into audacity free audio editing program- i exported the recording as 16-bit flac.

I made this one a morning while having a cup of strong java. It's done in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. Made a drumbeat with open hi-hat. After 4 rounds the hi-hat closes and a cowbell comes in. Did a bassline to go with the beat. Then i added instruments on top of that. Starts out pretty mellow in minor, dark. I made this instrumental music in two versions, with and without drums. This is without drums. I did it in garageband for a thing called victors crypt. Made this moody dance-friendly tune in garageband for something called victors crypt. It's sort of happy, a bit up-tempo and dance-friendly but has this eerie anxious undertone. That's why i named it "dancing in dispair". Did a bassline along with a beat to start it off. Then i added some minor chords and synths with a lot of room to create a spookiness in it.
