An accelerating vibrato. Part 3 - now 2 tones. Same 60hz sinus tone plus another sinus tone slowly increasing in frequency creating beating effects. The second, rising, vco has a lower amplitude. I decided to experiment with a metal slinky, with the intention of creating some science-fiction sounds. Here is a string out of what could potentially be used as "laser gun shots". There are a variety of individual shots, and at the latter-half of the clip i attempted to create a cross-fire gun fight. Some editing, including noise reduction may improve what i've done here. *recorded on may 09, 2021 using a sennheiser shotgun mic and a zoom h4n pro (and a shower, of course).

I finally decided to begin uploading sounds here (so those are my very first sounds here)those are old recordings which i've done about 2-3 years back on my phone for personal projects, before i've got decent recorder, those sounds are the best sounding among the others. I wanted to find a good creative commons 0 sound effect of fingernails scratching on a wooden surface but i could find the exact thing i was looking for. So i recorded myself scratching my bedroom door with my fingernails using a recording app on my phone and edited it in audacity to remove breathing sounds, and to make the sound feel more heavy/deep, including some very faint reverb. As i heared our doog eating the crunchy vegetables, i quick got my zoom h4n to record it. The maybe some noise of a fly or traffic in the background, but the internal mics were very close to the food-bowl. I had some issue when i came very close as the dog tried to eat as fast as possible, so i prefered to lay the recorder on the ground and kept away with my arm so the eating could be more relaxed. This recording was made in the afternoon during a rainshower under my carport in louisiana. The rain is striking three different surfaces in this track: cement, roofing and plantlife. Now, i'm no pro, nor is my equipment (olympus ws-310m w/ built in mic), so discerning these different sounds is difficult. You can hear the dripping from rain: fast drip in the background of this track. However slight, there is also a noticeable electronic note which is simultaneous with the water striking these surfaces. You can also hear slight rustling sounds that could be wind or my shirt moving near the mic (i was wearing the device on a lanyard). The file is wav, recorded in stereo at 16 bit at 44. 1mhz.

I've put this sound as public domain (cc0) so i (and you) don't have to fiddle with figuring out the minutiae of various cc licenses.
