Squeaky wooden door opened in a hall of highschool. 1999. Casette dictaphone, built in mics, digitalized with generic amiga mono sampler at 16khz. Saved as wav.
Me walking on a metal grate in hard soled shoes. Some of the sounds are unpleasant but most are salvageable if you are looking for a casual walking sound.
Opening & closing the small metal door of the dishwasherrecorded at a coffee shop in louisville, co with an iphone 5 (as a voice memo), edited in audacity.
I was messing around with some voice effects and somehow ended up with this growl. It sounds like a noise a dinosaur or dragon would make. Or like a clicker from "the last of us. "also, if you slow it down, it sounds like wood creaking. Let me know if it's useful for you, hope it makes for some good sound design with whatever you're doing. I'm excited to hear what you do with this sound if you do use it.
Effect was created with a standard wood violin. I used a tascam dr-05 to record. Please let me know if you would like any other sound effects from a violin. My sounds are completely free, use them for whatever you'd like. :). Help out this starving musician by subscribing to my youtube channel bravotuttimusic or at least giving my some watch time and play my videos in the background. Not necessary, but helpful! thanks!.

It was a dark and stormy night. Suddenly the power went out and the cellar door opened. . . Actually it's the lid to my coffee pot. Includes four similar creaks for your choosing.
A short clip of a student practicing a section of debussy's arabesque no 1 on a roland digital piano. You also hear the sound of a creaking piano bench.
One of my friends had a door that sounded really nice. They were incredible and sent me a very nice small recording of the door opening and closing to upload here.
Foley recording of a goose-neck reading lamp lamp (you can bend it into any position and it will stay that way) mounted to a bed in a hotel room. Features a lot of groaning, clicking, bending, stretching, etc. Could be used for rope torsion sfx, pitched down for metal stress / strain / fatigue, clicking elements could be used for creature sounds.
Recorded in july of 2019 at blue cliff monastery (pine bush, ny) using a zoom h1n and 3dio fs binaural microphone. At 9:30 p. M the"great togetherness meditation hall" was empty except for two meditators (one of whom can be heard leaving about three and a half minutes into the recording). The natural creaking of the building can be heard throughout. Additional sounds include outside crickets, cars passing on a nearby road, and an occasional airplane. The track volume was maximized using goldwave.
Large metal sheet and ornamental metalwork gate to village cemetery opened and shut, creaking on it's hinges. Recorded around midnight to avoid bird and insect calls - despite this precaution there were birds calling in the distance. On arrival i saw there was a house adjacent to cemetery. Fearful of waking the non-dead i didnt hang around for more than two bad takes. I've added this not so impressive recording to give a taste of what i hope to record of this wonderfully vocal gate in the future.
An obnoxiously noisy chair squeaking away. This is actually the chair for my computer. It is always squeaking when i change my position or just lean a little bit (it can get kind of annoying).
