My lights are actually connected into the wall with a switch that i can turn on/off with a seperate controller, and this switch makes this very peculiar sound when it switches on and off. I felt like it was a cool sound actually and would be great for other people to use as well in their projects!. Feel free to use whenever/however you want. I walked through my neighborhood on july 4th, and many people were setting off fireworks outside their houses, so i recorded it. It was pretty chaotic. I walked through a park, which had a wet ground that you can hear me making my way through in some parts of this audio. Numerous fireworks go off, close and far, with crackles, sharper bangs, and more. You can also hear people yelling in the distance. Use this how you like, i do not need credit.

I recorded this in my living room with mics in an x-pattern on the couch very close together, using a tascam dr-70d and behringer dyynamic microphones with patch cables for optimal volume. I recorded this at maximum gain on the tascam as two stereo files, then conjoined them to a 6-channel audio file properly and mixed the front two channels to a monaural center channel for added effect. The final result is what can be downloaded here. Tghe music in the background is part of the star trek: generations expanded complete score, and is coming from my computer to the rear of the recording, which lasts just over a minute in length, and the music was just background noise for testing purposes only. No copyright infringement was intended. Credit for the music goes to the now late jerry goldsmith and also dennis mccarthy, who is still alive. I hope you like this audio demonstration, and find it useful when considering rigs like the holophone, or comparible 5. 1 surround sound microphones / rigs. I made this by playing a piccolino recorder and then adding reverb to it. There was a loop ready-made in garage-band that i used as a model but then changed it because i didn't want it to loop. I added flourishes so that it ends. This is the intro for an audio book i am recording but since i created the sound, i can share it. I would be happy if anyone else wanted to use it. A sound i made in audacity, basicly a chirp going down from about 500 hz to 20 hz (with a fade-out to limit subwoofer use)and added some ambience by using white noise rumble on the background, also added a slight wah-wah as you might notice. A futuristic trance/house vibe that i made a while back, after playing mass effect 2 for the first time. I really loved the nightclub on omega, and i suppose it sort of inspired this. Semi-auto rifle simulation, created using zoom h1. Artificial gun shots to simulate a semi-auto weapon in battle. Mic capsules were tapped with a popsicle stick to create this sound. Recorded at 24 bit 96khz, exported to 16 bit wav. Added pop compression filter for a theater like experience in post. Feel free to use this were ever you need it. A little credit wouldn't hurt. I recorded a pretty gnarly storm on 8/25 around 1:30 am. The cars are off the road but you still get that city reflection. I placed two rode nt5s in my living room windows and set them to record for about nine minutes. It wouldn't be great for an outdoor situation but it's a good "thunderstorm from an apartment in the city" recording. It's in 16 44. 1, stereo. Use it for whatever you want, no credit needed. -jp.
