Dial Up Connection from PC Modem

Electronic powerup style sound of large spacecraft or device, deep rumbling, electric dialup. Could also be used for futuristic spacecraft launch. I make other sfx and short musical compositions for games/apps, i release all sounds here under creative commons no restrictions to do as you wish with, so check out my other sounds.

Not a very good recording, and very short - but this is the flapping of a juvenile bald eagle's wings and its cry. I'm only uploading this because i don't think there are any other samples on freesound. I didn't manage to get a good shot at this one, so that's all there is. But i'll try for a better sample as soon as i can. This is a real bald eagle - not a red-tailed hawk, which is what most eagle samples really are. As with the loons, i'm on a bad dialup connection but if i get a better sample i'll upload it as a wav.

I recorded this many years ago on an imac g3 in 2008, the sound was recorded using the imac headphone jack into my desktop pc at the times audio in. I ended up doing this as my dsl went down for several days and i managed to get netzero working. I then uploaded the video to youtube where it has received over 10 million views. Https://www. I believe this to be a weasel, but it could have been a river otter, asthe only part of the animal i saw was the snout down a dark hole. Theanimal was amidst the riprap at the end of our garden, and beingtormented by two neighbourhood dogs. I shooed the dogs away, but theanimal continued to shriek for some time. I have this in wav format if anyone requires it, but i'm sending the mp3 because the original is 26mb long and i'm on dialup. ===fyi - i saw an animal swimming in the river a few days later, and am 98. 5% certain it was a river otter. =====2007-09-07ok. My biologist wife and i have come to the conclusion that it's an american mink (mustela vison). Poor little guy.
