It's a recording of sounds of an old store refridgerator. The recorder (zoom h2) was put into the fridge. There are sounds of fridge getting opened and closed, started up and stopped. It was recorded in a dance studio, hence the music in the background audible in the beginning. Lots of interesting noises this fridge makes. Recorded with zoomh2 rear mics from inside of the fridge. Converted to flac using audacity.

I needed the sound effect for a car arriving. These were recorded in my driveway. 2011 honda element, waliking to car, starting it, backing down driveway, driving back up driveway, stopping car and walking away. Recorded using the internal mics of a zoom h2n. Recorded was on a tripod about three feet from car. These sounds were originally used in a performance of vanya, and masha, and sonia and spike.

This was captured from last year. I thought my recorder wasn't working properly because when i checked the recording, i couldn't find the file. The time/date stamp was screwy. Lol anyway, i didn't see the couple but they were in the room right next to mine. I could literally hear them through the door. I thought at first that it was more than just a couple in the room but after listening several times i think it was just one couple. Like i said, i didn't see them. There is some conversation towards the end but nothing significant that needs to be censored or deleted. The guy was joking with the girl about being a "five star fuck". ;d lol throughout the recording, you might hear some "knocking" and creaking sounds. Sorry. That was me. I kept my hotel door propped open and i was peeking out every now and then to check on my recorder. Anyway, i wasn't able to get a recording this year but i was able to find this one (that i thought was lost) from last year, so enjoy! :d.

Record of the walk and start of the car. On the recording you can hear footsteps on the rocky ground. Opening the car and then putting the key to the ignition and starting the car. Car sound is audible inside the car and may be hard to hear. I made the recording on the zoom h5 handy recorder. The headphones used are superlux. I used a sandisk 32 gb card. Regards :).

I like the first cup of coffee from a good coffee maker. Inevitably though, it gets left on, and then to me it is undrinkable. Overcooked. Terrible. The waste is unacceptable to me. So, we can agree on that, and my partner was about to make a cup for himself. I got it all, jar lids, spooning, stirring with a spoon in a ceramic cup, adding sugar and milk. The last soft thud is the fridge door closing.

The sound is of an lg french-door refrigerator that just had the compressor replaced but had too much freon loaded. The tubing dedicated to the freezer section accumulated frost which internal fan blades were rubbing against. Later, a savvy technician released some measure of freon and the sound went away. So the sound is now only a memory. No effects or alteration has been applied. The sound was recorded using 'voice record pro' by dayana networks ltd using an iphone 11, ios 15. 6.

Sounds of trains passing above an art atelier in brussels, belgium; the room is right below the railway, so you can hear trains making different kinds of rumbles and noises from the other side of the ceiling. It was recorded with a tascam hd-p2 recorder and a sennheiser mkh50 directional microphone. I selected only the train-passing moments, there is a metal door shaking on the background and maybe some traffic, but i think it's cool enough. (:.

This was recorded with a trustin portable rechargeable 8gb dictaphone. The recorder was held about 7" away for the louder scrapes and drops and no more than 3" away with the softer scraping sounds. Some normalization was used to drop the peaks. The tiles were in the small hall of an apartment, facing an open door. The hall was approximately 3 feet wide and 8 feet long. Various kitchen noises. I recorded this while making foley for a film recently. It's intentionally roomy and captured from medium distance which was the position of the listener. There's no significant background roomtone (no traffic, fridge hum or voices), just the exagerated cutlery movements, glasses and cups clingings, water sink, cabinets, fridge door and stuff. Format:wav 48khz 24bit stereo. Gear:device: zoom h6microphones: 2 oktava mk 012 in ortf position.

Great single-speed diesel engine sound, loopable for any length background you need. This one happens to be at about 1200 rpm for a four-cylinder ford tractor engine. That said, i am living dangerously today because it's a field recording and i'm not saying where it was. Not because i can't, but because i frequently use the wrong door when entering or leaving the supermarket and i usually completely ignore the painted traffic directives in the parking lot. I'm proud of that.

A dell dimension l600r being booted up and turned off. This will work nicely for those needing genuine sounds from an old computer. The mic was placed directly inside the computer's chassis with the side door closed. No noise-removal has been applied on this recording. Here are the sounds i recorded:- the "loose parts" sounds were a slightly unscrewed valve on a trumpet. - the hydraulic leg-lifting noise was a hatch door opening on a van. - the metal foot hitting the ground was me banging on a metal garage door. - the humming engine noise (it's quiet) was a roll of duct tape spun on a wooden board. - the various other clanks and pops were the same trumpet noises, just edited a bunch. A walking recording, starts off with a very noisy garbage truck, then all sorts of other street sounds in east village, nyc. Ends with me entering my apartment building through a double door. I recorded this while searching for farm sounds. On the recording you can hear footsteps in the grass, then the opening of the latch in the gate to the field and then further steps. This short recording was made during a sound search in the scotish border area of scotland. I recorded on the zoom h5 handy recorder, i used superlux headphones. The feeding of two hungry cats. Early sounds include tinkling of crunchy food falling into a near bowl and a more distant one, and the munching sounds of a purring cat. Then the snap of the top of the feeding container, and closure of a cabinet door. Two cats (bowmore and munro) the former near and the latter further away then transition to eating wet food. Location: tijuana, mexicotime: december, 2016. Riding a route taxi through the streets of tijuana. It's the evening on a weekday and people are coming off work. An ambulance cruises by. Passengers are silent most of the ride until minute 4:40 when the driver stops on a busy boarding zone. Coins jingle when people pay the driver. The door slides open and you can hear people on the street chatting, while passengers get off and new ones come in.

Recorded with lifecam hd3000 you can hear kids playing outside my window, the neighbors' stereo in the apartment next door, their air conditioner, their vacuum cleaner after they shut down the stereo, they're tromping around and hitting the walls, a few distant birds, and one toot of a train about to come into town. It's forbidden for them to blow the horn inside city limits.

This audio was recorded from my balcony in downtown denton, texas near the university of north texas at 6:30am in the morning, just after the sun had risen. All sorts of birds can be heard in the nearby trees. A car drives by in the distance, splashing through a puddle, and at the close of the recording, i walk inside, shut the door, and turn off the sony icd-ux512 voice recorder.

I recorded some rain outside my front door. This is a tuned (a440) sample which you can use to achieve a sort of soft-yet-textured synth string sound in a virtual instrument like ableton's sampler. I think adding a little fake vibrato to it with multiple conflicting volume lfos sounds pretty nice. You're free to use this sound without attribution. On deck aboard a baltic sea car ferry bound from rostock/germany to trelleborg/sweden. It is late evening, and the ferry is cruising clear of the harbor into the open sea. The recording features the ambient noise on deck, mainly the drone of the ship and it's diesels, some sea in the background, and the occasional door opening and closing. Recorded with a zoom h2n. These are the rear channels of a 4ch surround recording. Mics set to 120° dispersion.

I'm an enthusiastic and i created and attempted my first gun's shooting and respective reloading sound. Totally lo-fi, using metallic door bangs and many other rattlings. I boosted some 'ugly' harmonics so you can adapt it as best as your mixes need it. Similarity: i'd say it sound like, known in videogames, a sub-machine gun; a small full-auto gun. Like a p90 from cs:go or a msmc from cod:bo 2.

Some more of that couple next door. They're not as loud as they're use to but they haven't stop doing what they do. There will be more noises of them to share. For this one, the sex parts are from 0:00-5:30. The rest are just some extra of them talking after they were done enjoying their pleasure. Some parts of the woman was very soft. You can hear the guy in a few parts. This audio along with the other ones were shorten and edit with audacity and other software.

Large metal sheet and ornamental metalwork gate to village cemetery opened and shut, creaking on it's hinges. Recorded around midnight to avoid bird and insect calls - despite this precaution there were birds calling in the distance. On arrival i saw there was a house adjacent to cemetery. Fearful of waking the non-dead i didnt hang around for more than two bad takes. I've added this not so impressive recording to give a taste of what i hope to record of this wonderfully vocal gate in the future.

A stereo field recording of hundreds of several species of frogs at spring in raleigh, nc. Recorded at a very large concrete stormwater retention pond. The tall concrete walls made a nice effect acoustically. There are a few other faint sounds such as my dog walking around, a bit of wind and a car door as the pond was next to a parking garage. But, the frogs definitely dominate. I recorded this with an olympus ls-11.

Opening and closing an old metal hatch in our basement. The hatch is locked by two handles. The first two creaks are the handles being turned, the last creak is the hatch itself. At around 0:10, the hatch is closed again and the two handles are turned to closed position. Recorded using a no-name directional microphone. Some more of the young couple next door. Another one that has some parts louder and some softer. They were at it in bed for at least over 10 minutes. At 0:22 sounds like a toilet flush, maybe one of the was using the bathroom. For the good parts/sex parts, passed 2:00 somewhere is where there starts to be some soft moans. Around 11:15 is when they finish. The conversations they were having before they started to get, and after they finished having, had some parts cut out.

An actual new production instead of old stuff! made in june of 2020. A dark intro implies the humming engines of the spaceship you're in as you're traveling at speeds unimaginable. Slowly the ship starts to spring to life. As you open your eyes, slow but huge bands of light sweeps across your cryogenic sleeping pod, as if being scanned. The pod starts to move while you're still in it, going through chambers filled with machinery and bleeping computer stations, until it stops in front of a huge closed door. Suddenly, your pod opens up as well as the door. Your eyes are greeted with the majestic sight of a gigantic control room with windows as far as the eyes can see, galaxies fills your field of view, a beautiful synergetic view of the grandeur of space and the hundreds of lights of the control room, welcoming you to a new adventure. 2 simple chords form the basis of a textural composition supplied with sound effects. Plugins used: ni kontakt 5 with atom hub's the planet, doom by sampletraxx, space by rigid audio, ni absynth, and massive vst synths. Extra sound effects: shocking signal and ui designer by sampletraxx, heavily sampled and mangled. I wanted to find a good creative commons 0 sound effect of fingernails scratching on a wooden surface but i could find the exact thing i was looking for. So i recorded myself scratching my bedroom door with my fingernails using a recording app on my phone and edited it in audacity to remove breathing sounds, and to make the sound feel more heavy/deep, including some very faint reverb. Since i really wanted this i thought it might be useful for someone else! i hope someone else out there like me finds this somewhat useful. Theres a bit of a clicking noise at the end - i think from the recording process.

This one is overdone by experimenting with too many vst filters. . . ^-(. . . Urban ambience with local residents talking, some moderate, yet constant traffic, a plane at the end and featuring the sound of love. Includes people talking in the background, some distant cars, a church bell, one or two planes about to land, people opening and closing the back door. As special appearance, there is someone having a joyful time (or -less probable- screaming of pain repeatedly) throughout the whole lenght of the recording. Here is some more of that young couple next door that always go at it. This one was badly recorded. It's probably the best i could do with the editing. Passed 1:00 is when they begin. 7:29 is when they finish. Passed 3:30 is when the woman starts to make louder sounds. 5:34 to 6:03, an airplane flying got into the recording, did my best to make unnoticeable. 7:05 to 7:25 are the sounds from the guy. Original audio of this was 15:00 long. They didn't actually start having sex right away. This was edit and cut short with audacity.

Squeaking old office armchair. I have recorded this sound using my ipad 3, and software is dictaphone by alon software, version 1. 7. 6. Recording quality setting: normal. It was recorded at my office in mexico city, i was looking for a kind of similar sound at freesound. Org, and since i did not find anything related, i decided to make my own sound effect and my first upload to your web. I lowered the ipad in my hand under the chair and swayed back and forth three times to achieve the tone i considered efficient. Recorded: august 31, 2019.

Recorded the sounds with a zoom h1n in my apartment. Snare is a flick with my fingers on a wooden door + added snarebuzz in post production to it, kick is a hit with my hand on the wall produced some nice lows. I had to create an another track for just the transient, but essentially made from the same sound. Hihat is the stove's clicking sound with added reverb. Post production made in ableton live lite with mostly the integrated audio effects, but i also used some free plugins to create this drum loop. I hope you enjoy, it's 100% royalty-free.
