278 Royalty-Free Audio Tracks for "Drawing"

A short scene with someone drawing on a canvas with charcoal. The crystal microphone is placed to one side of the drawing so as not to be in the way. Tascam.

A few strokes from a felt tip pen. I couldn't find any of the right length on here so thought i'd share. Unfortunately these are recorded on a mobile phone, but i've not done any audio processing so you can gain and de-noise to your own needs.

I quickly recorded this for a motion graphics project. It was used as the sound of line on a graph drawing out.

Take 1. A knife rubbed against a cheese slicer in order to create the effect of a sword being drawn from a sheath. This was recorded for the purpose of a college project. After spending a weekend putting together a giant wardrobe (from everyones favourite swedish furniture store) for my girlfriend i thought i should reward myself by making some recordings of it. This is a close mic recording of one of the internal draws. For this recording i used my sennheiser mkh416 going into a sound devices mp-1 preamp and recorded to a tascam dr-680.

Sounds of a blade clanging against metal. This sound was made by scraping a kitchen knife against a pan. Just used a pencil and paper and started to scribble/write.

Using a sharpie marker pen to write and scribble on a piece of paper. Writing, a few dots to punctuate writing a sentence, drawing a heart then scribbling inside the heart shape to fill it in. Scribbling different speeds. Recorded on a zoom h1.

Sword sound, can be used as a sword hit, swords, unsheathe. Also great for a sword hitting against a knight shield.

Recorded on erase on a notebook, sliding an eraser on a piece of paper. Recorded in home studio, you can use this effect free for your works.

Recorded myself and my roommate sparring with daggers, all of our sounds are removed and it is only the clashing of the weapons. Enjoy.

Normalized, better works as sfx than realistic foleying i think. Sounds like sketching, writing a title, or signing an autograph. Good for editing youtube videos maybe?.

Recorded and processed at 24bit 96khz using the tascam dr-40 linear pcm recorder. Processing: gain-staging and soft high and low frequency filtering. No eq boost or cuts anywhere else. Also de-noised.

I wanted a sword sheathing sound and found the nice wooden/lacquer sound (from q. K. 's sword_sheath. Wav)and then added a quiet sample (from streety's sword1. Flac) to make it more metallic. .

This is one of those sound effects you kind of go "huh?" about when you hear. Let me explain what this is and how i imagine it being used. To me, it sounded like a good sound effect for when a computer (whether in a game or animation or whatever) screen starts writing down text (in other words, when a message is displayed on a screen and is written down one letter at a time until the complete message is shown). There are two versions here. The first one fades out (to be used a single time), and the second one is loopable (so you can loop it to make it last longer). Okay, i'm done with the long boring description. I hope you enjoy this weird, different type of sound effect :). P. S.
