Blast beat drum pattern.

This is a basic dubstep beat. It was done in reason 7. It is useful in that it shows you a good way to construct a beat. It consists of four 4-bar measures, each progressing from the previous. In this way, you can see how to write a good beat, by starting off simple and building from there. Traditional dubstep drums are very spare and sporadic with the use of symbols. I never liked drum beats until i heard dubstep !.

This is a beat that i made in the audition editing program using two free sounds: a cat purr and a water drop. I have no use for it because it's too slow for the songs i usually write. I took an almagmation of freesound samples and loops. I then attempted to fit them together into something that resembles a chilled dubstep tune. The people that feature are:. This is what i came up with in 30 minutes with the demo version of ni massive.

I just took one of keygenerator's sounds and messed around with the effects. The first one is the original.

Just a little pluck i made i wanted with sylenth this is the reverb tail of the saw that i made and i just chopped it up by half and it made a pluck.
