Org/wiki/funky_drummer. The beginning of the audio file plays the kick and snare part while the 2nd part of the same audio file plays the hi-hat part.

This is a beat that i made in the audition editing program using two free sounds: a cat purr and a water drop. I have no use for it because it's too slow for the songs i usually write. I decided to make my own version of gregory cylvester coleman's amen break @ 133bpm. Please send me a link to any production that you've used this break in. I'd just like to hear how creative you all are with it.

Note: i have created a newer version which has better looping. It is called drum beat loop 2. 0. This is a drum beating. It is 12 seconds long but can be looped. It was createdusing ableton live (including plugins like acdgen, drumbrain, and polyrandom). The files were then combined and edited using audacity. Feel free to comment your opinions on this. Note: while this did loop just fine in my tests, some software don't handle the looping as well (like groove music pauses before repeating). If the looping doesn't work the first time, try using a different software. You can easily do this on a windows pc by right clicking on the file and pressing open with (i am sure there is also a way to do this on a macbook but i have never used one so i am not sure how you would do it). Enjoy!.
