These footsteps were recorded on my backyard pathway that was full of leaves. Its a mono 44. 1k/16-bit recording using an akg perception 220. It was recorded very early in the morning to avoid city noises like cars and dogs barking.

I switched on and off an old tape recorder. You can hear hum noise like an early synthesizer. The reason why it makes such noise is not sure, but that's the most important part of analog devices. Computer software cannot do that.

This is the birds we hear in shrubs every singing around 10 am in early december. The birds cannot be seen but fly out to our garden and then we see they are all tree sparrows.

A recording made in the shawnee national forest in illinois on the very first day of october, 2022. This recording was made at mid-afternoon and features the peaceful, pleasant wind through the deciduous trees. From time to time though, the soft call of a nuthatch or a chickadee reminds us there is still bird life in the early autumn woods. Birds getting ready, getting stocked up for the upcoming northern assaults of cold air this winter. Some crows really start to put on a show towards the end of this stereo recording. A bird was singing close to a chimney early in the morning. I had my recording gear ready to go. It took quit a bit of processing (= noise-removal & filtering) to get rid of rubbish. I added a slight reverb to it. The recording is made in zoetermeer, a city close to the hague.
