Me (a man) teasing my wife by going down on her, bringing her to near orgasm, stopping and fucking her. This repeats as she gets closer and louder. The sex becomes rougher and there is some choking later in the recording. I think this recording was made in 2016 using a zoom h6 and a rode ntg4 mic or possibly the x/y capsule that comes with the recorder. Note on the recording: there seem to be some silences at a couple of points. Something probably happened in the rendering. I probably won't do anything to fix this as it's just a few seconds out of 18 minutes of audio.

The sound of water free falling off the edge of a flat roof. I opened the apartment balcony door and started recording. The fourth floor apartment is on the corner. The water was draining off the flat roof over the edge and falling directly from the roof to the ground. The recording equipment is a studio quality apex 460 multi pattern tube condensor microphone. It was located to avoid getting wet (!) and was about 90 degrees and six feet away from the sound source, just set in a few feet from the open balcony door.

This is the song of a beautiful bird called a rufous-sided towhee. A bird usually found in deep woods, or in heavy brush. I was fortunate though to both see and hear this guy as he was perched in a tree at the edge of a heavy forest. Recorded around 6:30 in the morning on a gorgeous spring day on the last day of march 2012. Rode ntg-2 shotgun mic mounted on a sturdy tripod to reduce handling noise. Enjoy!.

Just some random skate sounds made with different parts of the blade. Some deep edges, scrapes, scratches, skids, toe picks, stamps etc. . . Solo skating in an empty rink.

I placed a couple of sticks on the edges of a nut crackers mouth and applied pressure. This was recorded at the open window institute sound booth in centurion, south africa.

Crappy replica of a civil war union cavalry sword. All of these are rough around the edges, but the meat of the sound is clear, and should be easy enough to work with.

This is a field recording on a sunday-night in frankfurt am main (d). Wind is in higher parts of the sky and audible due to the skyscrapers sharp edges. Quite an ambiance i think.

A high quality shrill screech produced from large metal panels scratching against an old atx panel using it's edges. I imagine derelict buildings with steel slide doors being open slowly or a blade dragged on the ground.

Last night, a strong rainstorm blew in. The wind chimes on my porch were so beautiful, i couldn't help but take a few recordings. Added reverb for a more dreamlike feel, faded the edges in and out for smoothness. Any feedback or suggestions are appreciated always! hope you like it.

This is meant to represent "stopped time starting to move again". It's rough around the edges but with better timing and editing it can make wonders. A door is trying to keep itself closed with a strong wind (very fast thanks to the mountain). You can notice the cracks: it's old, more than 30 years old. This sound was recorded with a cm25 mkii condenser microphone, connected to a focusrite scarlett interface. The daw in which it was recorded is ardour and a guitar effects vst was used to add some distortion and delay. It was created with a photoresistor and a led lamp. The microphone was placed pointing towards one of the edges of the monitor, so as not to emphasize the treble and to balance more with the mids. I drove my car into a wall; and recorded the proximity alert from it. I then washed it through audacity; slowed it 23%; and trimmed the edges. The result? -chilling. A few indistinct gulps cool the atmosphere a little more. It's not the making of a corpse - but it sounds a bit like it?. Recorded late at night in my car by my home with the engine off in fog - so the sound is 'hollowed' by the atmosphere. Recorded using a sennheiser mke300 'shotgun' mic. Autumn is a time for slowing down and allowing yourself time for reflection and contemplation. The accomplishments and mistakes from the previous year. Especially if you make it a habit of getting out all year long and exploring nature, autumn can be a much-needed change in sensory soundscape. . . . After a busy spring listening to the many different warblers which come to visit and a busy summer immersed in the busy sounds of life----both human and natural----autumn's subtle, quiet muted soundscape can be almost like a re-birth for the ears and the soul. The insects, which had taken over center stage since august, are still singing---though now with a quieter volume and a more even sleep and though-inducing tempo. . . . . . . . Brisk winds from the north can be heard more clearly now----swishing, rustling the weedy, tan edges of fields. . . . . Hinting at the bite of much colder masses of canadian air waiting on deck for their turn in the months of november, december and january. . . I made this recording on the evening of october 4th 2014 at the edge of a field which was bordered by thick stands of oaks and pines of a major national forest. . . . . I couldn't help but pretend i was linus waiting in the pumpkin patch for the great pumpkin to arrive!.
