The recording was made in the town of kirkcaldy, scotland, next to a street on a seaside promenade. Street noises can be heard on the recording. Incoming motorcycle steadfast in the traffic light and departing. Hear passing cars and street sounds. I recorded it on the zoom h5 handy recorder. I needed a quick fix for a bomb sound effect, and i think i made this one okay. Honestly, i just went "pkhoooooo" into my laptop mic, bass boosted it, slowed it down, pitched it down, and ran it through a low-pass filter in audacity. Today i was cleaning the house on a leisurely sunday, and came across a piece of thicker paper by my printer. When i picked it up to put it in recycling, it was rather loud. I created this machine gun sound effect quite by accident. I was synthesizing a snare drum in fl_studio using multiple synth layers, effects and automation trying to create a really short and snappy snare and set the loop length really short by mistake and when i hit play to audition my sound i thought it resembled machine gun fire. A tabla loop played only with the bayan (the bass drum). The taal is kherwa (the rhythm) and the bayan isn't used at all. Recorded using behringer c-1u, recorded in adobe audition, and finally did some eqing (the major part of the eqing was removing the 60 hz hum and the obnoxious other harmonics). Enjoy!.

All i did is that i recorded and played a little riff on my violin with my ipad, and then add some reverb, and delay effects in audacity. (very eerie-like, but pretty). This kind of reverb used in the beginning and end of the riff is a cathedral room-like sound, and a few seconds of delay. I used mostly double-stops during the riff. Enjoy.
