Captured this on my iphone 12 pro internal microphone from my friends house in northern new jersey.

It was late afternoon so i took advantage of all the noisy birds around our house. Just the basic squawking of a variety of birds.

A 1 minute clip of me walking around the football field of loyola high school. In the background i heard cars, birds, busy los angeles traffic, sprinklers, other people, a plane.

Stuck my condenser mic out my window during a rain storm and recorded for a few minutes. Recorded at 48khz with a rode nt1-1. High passed around 150hz and compressed a little to bring up the volume.

Went out to get birdsong and general ambience without realizing it was going to rain. First two minutes can hear birds and bugs and nature sounds, then past the 3 minute mark the rain begins to set in gradually.

Summer rain falling at various levels of intensity. Occasional droplets hit a wooden porch. Audio has been denoised, equalized, and leveled to peak at no higher than -6 db. Waveform audio, 96000 sample rate, 24 bps, stereo.

Recorded at 6:30am on saturday 21 july 2012 in black hill conservation park, located on the edge of the city of adelaide. Dawn breaks with a morning chorus of magpies, new holland honey eaters, wattle birds, and more. Traffic can be heard in the distance as the city wakens.

Night storm in evosmo-thessaloniki (part 1) with more than 30 lightning strikes and thunders in a period of 20 minutes. The recording was made by me with the zoom handy recorder h2 (open window of my apartment). This is a free sound design. Sound picture of a room with machines. A sound experiment with samples that were created previously in different ways and ways, as well as samples created for this piece. A lot of granular synthesis and filtration, equalization and convolutional reverb.

A recording of crickets chirping at night around griffith park. Occasionally, some light traffic can be heard. Recorded in a mid/side configuration with a sennheiser 416 and a rode nt2000. Edited to remove as much traffic sound as possible. Eqed with a bass rolloff, a slight boost around 5-8 khz (to hear more crickets), and a cut somewhere around 100-500 hz (to hear less of the traffic).
