A recording of my car accelerating past through first and second gear. Recorded with a tascam dr100 and a behringer c4 microphone.

Needed a clean punching sound, i couldn't find one so i thought i'd share what i made. I made the sound with my mouth. . . Used audacity to clean the noise and remove my stupid breathing.

All my sounds were created for an upcoming motioncomic i created called: madagascar: alex's story. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different roars, growls, breathing, etc. And fiddled with their settings until i got a sound i felt satisfied with. I thought the best thing to do with them after the project was done is to share. So, no need to give me credit. I recorded myself typing on my corsair k95 rgb platinum. This is a keyboard with cherry mx brown mechanical switches and has a tactile feel to it. I recorded this with a audio-technica at2020 condenser microphone w/ pop filter and shock mount.

Fast traffic on the highway.

Captured this sound on my canon powershot a460 digital camera while traveling on a bus through glasgow scotland. The type of bus i was on was a single decker volvo, by first group, made by the famous wrightbus. My fifth attempt at a glitch style loop. In order to make the samples used here - most of which are only hundredths of a second long - i took samples from the amen kit, then switch the format from >pcm 22. 050 khz, 8 bit, mono< into >adpcm 11. 025 khz, 4 bit, stereo< then back to >pcm 22. 050 khz, 8 bit, mono< again. I found that if you do this with a sample under 00. 35 seconds long, you get an almost random glitch sound, about. 04 seconds long, that barely sounds like the original sound. I just figured this out, but i'll make note of it; i like some of the effects.

This is a sequence i created for my podcast. It is a male running through a crazy maze. Sounds used are breathing, running, chains, whistle, explosion, fall and a spat. I have a version with train noise in the background.
