This is a foghorn-like sound that i created using an accidentally recorded poot from a friend. I stretched the sound bite a few times while lowering the pitch, added a couple different reverb effects, and then finished it with some parametric eq, raising the bass, and using a low pass filter to cut out the high frequencies. If you would like the original poot sound, i have also uploaded it as fart sound 1.

On deck aboard a baltic sea car ferry bound from rostock/germany to trelleborg/sweden. It is late evening, and the ferry is cruising clear of the harbor into the open sea. The recording features the ambient noise on deck, mainly the drone of the ship and it's diesels, some sea in the background, and the occasional door opening and closing. Recorded with a zoom h2n. In broekhuizen, near arcen, lies the old ferry named grubbenvorst, dying on the river maas. It has been replaced by a newer one. The old one lies rotting away some hundred metres away from its old trajectory. It was very windy that day and the carcass of the ship was mildly rocking back and forth resulting in this beautiful creaking. The occasional thud is the boat hitting the construction it is lying in. This recording was made with a zoom h2n on 4 channel mode. It was then further edited and processed using reaper. It was recorded on april 3rd 2018. The zoom was protected by a rycote windshield and my own cap as an extra windbreaker.
