Well, the title is kind of self-explanatory. Recorded on april 2018, this is the sound of a 18 weeks old fetus heartbeat, beating at 150bpm (approx). Or that's what they told us at the clinic :).

Recorded with a sony pcmd50 straight from the headphone jack of a doppler stethoscope at 16 wks old.

I march 2007, i uploaded an isolated chunk of my unborn child's heartbeat from a doppler check during a doctor's visit (http://freesound. Iua. Upf. Edu/samplesviewsingle. Php?id=31785). I had a request to upload the entire recording that also includes my wife's heartbeat mixed with my child's. Here it is!.

This is a recording of the doppler heart monitor that doctors use to check out baby's heart during pregnancy checkups. This was was made on february 28, 2007 at sutter in berkeley, ca by plugging my marantz recorder into the doppler instrument. There is a bunch more that is my wife's and the baby's intermingled (with the recorder plugged in we had no way to monitor), but this is the section that has the fetus isolated. If anyone is interested in the whole thing, let me know and i'll put it up.
