Though i generally expect attribution for my sounds, almost every aspect of this sound was the product of dpren's superb "scifi gun - mega charge cannon". My only contribution was adding a bit more oomph to when the gun fires so it feels wrong to take any credit for their genius. A quick piece i made using various effects, to give the impression of a factory accident in which a fire/explosion occurs, and steam vents and opened etc. Attribution information:. I'm afraid i threw that together 7 years ago when i would have been 14 years old. I can't really remember whether i used any other sounds to make it, or if i generated it (and definitely can't remember who needs attributed if soundswere used). If you recognise any of your work in this - just give me a shout/report it; i've got no problem removing this, as i said; did it a long time ago and forgot i'd even made it. In this series of recordings i strike many cook's safety matches, in a small plaster-boarded room. These sounds were recorded with a match pair of rode m5 small diaphragm condenser microphones, into a zoom h4n. These are the raw sound recording with not noise reduction, eq, or compression. It's a recording of a firework candle going off. The candle bursts near the end of the recording, before burning out. Recorded with zoom h2's rear mics at 96khz/24bit on a mic stand. Truncated and converted to 24-bit flac using audacity. This is an unprocessed (raw) recording for maximum flexibility. Enjoy.

This is a recording i made with my h4n while on exercise at meaford training centre, with an artillery unit. It features 5 mortars firing multiple rounds. In the back ground, you can hear fire orders being issued over the radio, as well as individual detachment commanders giving orders to their gunners.

City Ambiance sound effect. Great for a movie or game that is set in an inner city or downtown area. You can clearly hear cop or ambulance sirens in the background.

Synthesized sci-fi shooting. This is a one of the results of my attempt to complete a school assignment. We were supposed to create a gun or canon fire sound with audiogen synthesizer. Let say that this is my best result that could be "loosely" called a gun firealthough it has a sci-fi spin on it :-).

A slowed down and heavily edited recording of a chemical boiling i recorded in my chemistry class. Sounds like a large reservoir of lava, so it be suitable in a volcano setting. Has less treble than lava loop 3. Loops perfectly. Recorded with a zoom h4n pro on 08/05/2019. Edited in audacity.

Recorded with zoom mkh416, in los angeles. Street noise with fire crackers. Traffic and people can be heard. Audio has not been edited. Beware fireworks if wearing headphones. I let off fireworks inside a silo. Unfortunately the best audio i got was from the gopro inside. Extracted from camera recorded content, tidied up with audacity mono and noisegate. . . I also listen for problems and cherry pick to avoid weird sounds. . No rubbish dry sample. If you want to use these sorts of sounds (good for games or video), remeber adding reverb back is the trick to making the sound big again.

Some generative campfire sfx made with sunvox. The crackling sounds were made by taking some highpassed white noise, ring modulating it with some more white noise, and then using a noise gate to usilate the loudest 'crackles'. The rumbling was created using lowpassed white noise. Everything was sent into a reverb and a stereo expander.
