I couldn't find any good giant wings flapping here, so i made my own and am now sharing them so nobody else has to! screw paying for sounds! made from a combination of pizza box lids, sheets, and a bit of sound design. You don't even have to credit me because i mean. . . Who even does that? and why? who's gonna track down a foley artist from the credits of a show for a random sound? just check out the sonic realms podcast if you like audiodramas and role playing games; there's nothing else like it. Just a cartoony short flap you could use when a cartoon character is waving. Recorded a notebook that i shook to produce a flapping sound using a cd-r king pc microphone and processed with adobe audition.

An extra on set caught a cicada and let me record it flapping its wings. I used an at-897 to record this into a 664. It's very close mic-ed.

This sound was recorded in a park, while many birds were attracted by food, in a spot, so they were flapping wings all together making it sound very loud. Feel free to use it if you need itbyef.
