Not a very good recording, and very short - but this is the flapping of a juvenile bald eagle's wings and its cry. I'm only uploading this because i don't think there are any other samples on freesound. I didn't manage to get a good shot at this one, so that's all there is. But i'll try for a better sample as soon as i can. This is a real bald eagle - not a red-tailed hawk, which is what most eagle samples really are. At first you can hear the ambience of a village (middle of june) with distant car road. Than a group of starlings arrive and eat cherries from a tree. At about 7'15" they suddenly depart. There is again some ambience after they have flown away.

I was recording with audacity on my blue yeti whilst in my room. The mic was totally unbalanced on my bed and it eventually fell over but when i played it back it sounded like a nice whoosh or poof. Also if you put it in reverse it sounds like a giant wind flap like a bird or something.
