Short recording of me walking to the roof of a warehouse near the los angeles area. You can hear the wind and my foot steps on the the steel roof access staircase. Once on the roof we hear a turbine vent squeaking and an aircraft flying overhead, as police sirens pass by. This is a 808 bass which i sampled from my novation drum station. The sample covers one full octave from c#0-c1. The sound was recorded through a yamaha m1516 which pretty much has the same circuit as a api. As you can hear it sounds pretty much the same as a roland 808. The drum station uses analog modeling so the sound is pretty nice. Feel free to use in your productions. There is no need to contact me if you release a track with this sample just enjoy.
