A request for freesounder neilreynolds1980, intended as a soundtrack for the play dr faustus at the point the eponymous character is sucked into hell. A bit of technical information: the basic sound is a stacked set of ‘devil’s intervals’ (augmented fourths) with doubling at the octave, playing an instance of calf organ set to a truly horrifying demonic choir patch i created. The rest of the effects are accomplished using automation of this instrument as well as calf pulsator and calf filter in ardour. This sounds much better when downloaded than it does in the freesound player. The stereo image and sample rate are much reduced in the version you hear in the player.

Underwater [loop] amb. Update: i have decided to release this sfx for free, public domain. Enjoy! :). Please like and share!. A loop-able ambiance of being submerged in water for your underwater needs. This one was particularly difficult to process as i had to layer many scuba diving sounds in one order to get this effect. Only after crushing many frequencies via eq, is when it gets this deep. Get it? deep like an ocean? no? okay i swim away now. . . Enjoy =). - noise reduction- high pass at 30khz- artifact removal- noise removal- bass enhancement- low pass- layering- stereo imaging- stereo widening. Details:. - gopro hero 4- 48khz- 24bit- wav. Crediting: optional. Dcsfx: https://www. Freesound. Org/people/dcsfx/.

The sound of an electric car being plugged in and recharged. The clip starts with the car's recharging flap being opened from inside the car, then fully opened by hand, then the plastic socket cover being opened, then picking up the charging connector and plugging it into the car. There is some clicking as the electric vehicle's cooling fan turns on for a short while. This was recorded in-person with a tascam dr-40 stereo recorder at a small, suburban farm. Public domain: i have released this audio file into the public domain. It is free for anyone to download, modify, or use without my consent and without attribution - like all freesound audio files should be. Let me know if you found this sound useful. Enjoy!.

Original file name: wah whistle suspense bees - 30 september 2012specs: demo at 120 bpm, stereo, 48000 hz, 24 bit, wav formatdescription: created the sound using the thor polyphonic synthesizer in propellerheads reason. Sounds weird when played in isolation, but sounds decent when played as an arp or melody. I have included the "c" note spanning 7 octaves in case the samples need to be loaded into a sampler. Sample pattern: demo | c0 | c1 | c2 | c3 | c4 | c5 | c6. Contact (pm) me if you want any changes to this sample (please include freesound sample number 166169). You can use this commercially with proper crediting, but please let me know where and how you use it - seeing this used will really make me happy. :).

A short recording of construction work on a ten-storey apartment building in the blackhorse road area of walthamstow, london. General construction noises. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is some processing to this recording to ‘normalize’ the levels and light eq-ing. I do not require any credit or attribution. If any of these sounds have been of help, and you are feeling charitable, please do consider donating to freesound to help keep the site running (a link is also on the home page). Any donations are greatly appreciated!.

A shorter, more polished version of my previous sound "alien world" (https://freesound. Org/people/patrick_corra/sounds/540045/). This ambience is a bit more earth-like compared to its predecessor, though any sound used here is either created from scratch or recorded: i used my own voice for the "bird" sounds and a crickets chirping recording for some background noise. Aside from myself and the crickets, no other animal was recorded to create this sound, so i think it's fair to define it as "alien". Inspired by the sounds heard in black mesa's version of xen, i decided to try creating a similar soundscape.

I made this tune in garageband for something called victors crypt. It a synth-based tune with a eerie typ of bass-synth at the bottoe with a bit more optimistic melody on top of that. Making it harmonic and less pessimistic but still dystopia. The scream in the beginning is something i borrowed here from freesound. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool and watch and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. A scary tune i did in garageband for something called victors crypt. I started with the choir and put really heavy reverb on it to get a chanting creepy feeling. Like a satanic cult doing a wicked ritual. I added stuff to make it spookier. And i also borrowed sounds here on freesound. The strings that you here is something i borrowed. Feel free to use it as long as you give me the credit for it/write me as composer. And subscribe to and watch my channel :). Be cool, watch and subscribe to victors crypt:https://www. Youtube. I've benefited from freesound in the past so i wanted to give something back. I created this audio sample of the black speech of mordor (a section of the ring poem), as part of a cinematic orchestral lord of the rings piece to add flavour to it and wondered if others might find a use for it in their own projects. The sample does have added reverb but to my ears this is not excessive. The phrase is:-. Ash nazg durbatulûk,ash nazg gimbatul, ash nazg thrakatulûkagh burzum-ishi krimpatul. This translates to:-. One ring to to rule them allone ring to find themone ring to bring them alland in the darkness bind them. No attribution required but it would be nice to know if anybody uses it. ;-).

Any thursday. . . It was about 1:00 am and i got my handy recorder zoom h4n with me. Then i realized i found very few sounds here at freesound. Org of steps for videogames. . . So i decided to record some. They have "so much personality", with keys in the pockets (you can notice them on the run), a dog barking when i run, and the sound of the street at night. It may not be 100% clean (for example, wind affects a little to the beggining of the run), but i think it's enough to emulate a videogame in a short film or something. I turn around once when dog is barking, you can notice the bark panning from left to right channel.

Version 2. . . Of https://www. Freesound. Org/people/gis_sweden/sounds/352940/. . . Or maybe version 34. . . . It's not better but a little different. More dynamics. Softer. But still i have the clicks :-/have to work on that. It becomes clear when i record with audacity and can actually see the attack and decay. I’m playing with alm pip slope. With this module you can cv control the attack and decay. As oscillator i use intellijel μvcf in self-oscillation mode. I fm-modulate this filter/oscillator with a tone from uoki-toki polivoks vcf. The semi random trigger is really two triggers connected to an or gate. Pitch is from analogue systems rs-40 (sample/hold and noise). I can listen to this for a looong time. Retro sound.

Over 100 environmental loops in one which are all public domain from freesound. Org. All sound info is in the cue point for each sound. These are perfect backgrounds for videos, for games, or maybe songs of your own? there is lots of different loops for everyone :). Since these are public domain, you are not required to give credit for any of the sounds (including this collection), but if you want to thank an artist and/or tell them where you used it, just copy/paste the file number into freesound's search field and it will help you find the file page. Important:if you intend to register a copyright with the government for works you created using public domain sounds, you must indicate them in the application process (limit of claims section) because you cannot copyright public domain sounds.

So i thanos'd it and did it myself! no need to credit me, this is free to use, because what am i gonna do, get famous off of my attribution? no, we came here to share freely, so let's share freely! when we all rise, we all rise. If you really appreciate the work that went into this (cutting tree branches, getting them into my basement, setting up the mic, recording, post-production processing, cleaning up, uploading. . ) then please check out/review/follow/subscribe/drop a like on my podcast, sonic realms (it would help a lot)!. If you like ttrpg roleplaying combined with cutting-edge sound design, you'll like sonic realms. There's nothing else like it!. Thanks! i hope this is useful to you.

For a podcast project i needed some coffee related sounds so i recorded our techni-vorm moccamaster, filter coffee machine as it brewed a full pot. Our version has a metallic thermos jug rather than the standard glass jug. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. Low cut on the sd which in basic mode is 80hz (i think). There is no processing to this recording other than to ‘normalize’ the levels. I do not require any credit or attribution. I took blimp66's "sad and silly vocal tune" and pitched shifted it a half step lower, and added danke's synth string pad loop, which i also had to lower the pitch on, all to make the perfect background music to mr. Lima "thethanx" brattleboro's poem "you are what you eat. " i checked off the explicit content box, cuz i'm not sure if the poem is actually appropriate for minors, even though it doesn't really have curse words in it. You decide for yourself. Just discovered this recording i had from 2016, and thought i'd upload it to complement my other diner recording on here (https://freesound. Org/people/edlundart/sounds/501025/). This is 4 and a half minutes of background noise from a new york city diner, including people talking, clanging plates and glasses and forks and knives and cups being cleared away by staff. Crucially, no music is playing. This means you can either use this clean, or layer in your own rights-cleared music if you're using this in a film or whatever. Recorded in 2016 with an iphone — don't let the recording device scare you, it sounds pretty good and certainly fine for this kind of background noise. Use it in any way you like for any purpose. Warmly, bard edlund, edlundart. Com.

My very first sound effect ever uploaded to freesound. From the swagoontrax™ sound & voices collection, featuring myself and my brother, taj. It's just an average group of people in a bathroom or locker room, cracking jokes, talking to each other, or just pulling gags, on one saying "you fart one more time, and see what happens. . . No, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, no, i didn't mean literally. Stop! i didn't mean to! i was just kidding!. . . ", and some fake farting going on outside the ambiance. Enjoy!. This has been created for swagoontrax™ with audacity.

This is the recording of an audible pedestrians traffic light in paris, france. These devices are here to help visually impaired people cross the streets in a safe way. They come under the form of a little beige box with a hidden button underneath. You have to push the button to hear the annoucement. You can find them all over the city. The sequence goes as follows: first, an annoucement in french says "red light for pedestrians", followed by the street name, then a jingle goes on, followed by a series of bell-like sounds, signaling a green light. I maed this recording because i needed that particular sound for a show i was working on and couldn't find it on freesound. Recorded with a zoom h2n in stereo m/s mode (set to mono).

A looping lo-fi excerpt of felineterror's song 'r-s 5'. There is alot going on under the hood here, everything from an analog bass exciter, feeding into a audio rectifier, creating that unique bass tone. A highpass filter, feeding into a delay. And then a tape emulator, featuring frequency loss, tape degradation and wow'n'flutter. Other versions of this remix:. . Since my ears can't hear any frequencies above 14khz (please remember to wear ear defenders around loud machinery! thank you. <3), i can't hear tape hiss very clearly, and are afraid i might overdo the volume. Therefore i think its best to leave any tape hiss up to you, if you want any, there's plenty of recordings here on freesound, for example this one (cc-0). 120 bpm | original by felineterroruse this however you like!. Have fun, see you on the other side!.

A walk through ridley road market in dalston, east london. Lots of people chatting and music playing. As with many markets in london there are lots of languages being spoken. You can hear traders calling out what they're selling. This recording was made using a sound devices mixpre6ii and a stereo pair of fel em172 mics. A reduced amplitude version so that it doesnt blow your cotton socks off!. Quite short, 20 seconds long and good quality. Recorded using tascam dr-05 inside my hooded jumper sleeve, still quite crisp sounding. This ones on the house, minimum effort required to capture this, and i'm sure many people would be able to capture the same thing with varying degrees of quality. ** thank you for checking my work out, if you're digging it, it would mean the world to me if you could drop foolboymedia a like on. Here it is! my first ever submission on freesound! i decided to start this all out with a bang, and post something really cool that i'm proud of making. I'm not sure exactly what this creature was supposed to be. I'll leave that up to your imaginations. How it was made:. Software: fl studio 20. Plugin(s): serum, valhallaroom, ott, fruity parametric eq 2, and fruity delay 2. This was made completely with synthesizers. I used serum for the main synth, made copies of it, and modified each of them to sound unique from the other. I'd try to explain how the synth was made, but there's a lot of stuff. To process it, i used ott to make it sound more powerful and clear, eq to get the frequencies and texture right, delay with a low pass filter to get that outdoors echo feel, and valhalla room for the reverb. I had fun making these. Enjoy!.

Over 5 minutes of background noise from a well-known new york city diner, including people talking, clanging plates and glasses and forks and knives and cups being cleared away by staff, and in the second half of the clip, radio ads playing faintly in the background. But crucially, no music is playing. This means you can either use this clean, or layer in your own rights-cleared music if you're using this in a film or whatever. Recorded in january 2019 with an iphone x — don't let the recording device scare you, it sounds pretty good and certainly fine for this kind of background noise. Use it in any way you like for any purpose. Update: i just uncovered a similar recording i made in 2016 at a different diner, and uploaded that here: https://freesound. Org/people/edlundart/sounds/515719/ pick whichever one you prefer, or use a combination of both!. Warmly, bard edlund, edlundart. Com.

This recording is inspired by alienxxx http://freesound. Org/people/alienxxx/sounds/345510/made a little patch on my modular, still missing its (main) oscillators. I let the patch sound thru a pair of cheap computer speakers that i use as monitors. In an adjacent room, close to an open window, i put my phone and record. This is the unedited outcome. The recording was made 09:00 (16-05-11). Unfortunately nothing happened outside the window. Even the birds was quiet. I think there is a hint of feedback in the sound? first i planned to record with an old tape recorder, but i couldn’t find it. . . I think this recording should be listened to with low volume. May by it was a mistake to amplify the sound in audacity? but i think there is a nice room ambiance to the recording. Ideas for next time. Use guitar amp. Find old tape recorder. Don’t put recording device to close to window.

Sounds from making holes in the ground to place a mortar in it, it could also be used for preparations of building a tent. What i envision most is though that a real time strategy worker is harvesting coal, iron, metal, gold or stone resources using a pickax or shovel on hard ground. It could also be a massively multiplayer role playing game with the harvesting features. Extracted from a video (http://img. Youtube. Com/vi/bibflvh5qjq/2. Original file name: abstract hip hop beat 1 - 28 september 2012specs: 140 bpm, stereo, 48000 hz, 24 bit, wav formatdescription: an abstract hip hop beat loop programmed into propellerhead's reason redrum. Used the 'abstract hip hop kit' samples that come with reason's soundbank. First part of loop is dry with no effects except eq, second part is more processed. Sample pattern: a1 x2 | a2 x2effects: equalized all the samples. First half is dry in that no extra effects apart from eq are used; second part of the loop is actually two copies of the same loop with one of them containing extreme compression after some unison (detuning) and ~30ms delay. Contact (pm) me if you want any changes to this sample (please include freesound sample number 166029). You can use this commercially with proper crediting, but please let me know where and how you use it - seeing this used will really make me happy. :).
