A simple sound of an egg shell cracking. It was actually made by taking an index card and smashing it twice between my palms, putting them together, mixing and editing in audacity. Not very super realistic, but sounds good if it's flying and hits something.

This is a solo acoustic slide guitar noodling round with a country-ish melody. I've added some splices here and there to make it easier to navigate. Quite good fun to modulate the position and gene size to create some eerie rhythmical effects. Have fun!.

The spigot of a metal sink being twisted and rubbed with damp fingers. Possibly good for creature scream or whine sfx.

I created this sound by taking two large cobblestone blocks and hit one against the other. Good for sound design. There is a little rattle on some of the heavier hits, it couldn't be helped since the block is so heavy.

This is a recording of an analogue bass synthesizer, made by focusrite saffire pro 26. It's a smooth sound with an instant attack and two final wobble created with an lfo. The sound has been equalized and compressed and some reverb mixed with an aux. 140 bpm. Good fun.

I did this by tuning my voice as low as i could get it and recording it. Then i slowed the voice down to 0. 400, instead of using the paulstretch. I, again, did this with audacity and used my laptop to record it. Pretty good, i think.

My toaster oven's door makes this screeching sound whenever it gets hot. Pretty harsh and could be good for horror sound design. Recorded with a zoom h4n.

A pencil writing on some cardboard. Makes a good scratching sound for something like note taking or plain writing. It's semi-erratic with a couple pauses in between and i took different distances from the mic and angles with the pencil to try and get different sounds.

A short layer of rhythmic clanging created as a scary atmosphere in a chase scene. Used a roland groovebox with the self-sampling utility directly to wav. I've found this method results in good sounding recordings, but reduced high frequencies. Sorry, don't know the bpm.

Riding in building elevator during a trip to visit rrr in lowell. 0:18 - close mic elevator fan noise with weird ringing sound; 0:30 - drumming on elevator interior; 0:45ish - elevator doors opening and closing. 0:55 - "good day!".

Urban sound scene: songbirds calling to each other across the railway line at 9pm. Wind in trees, gate slams. Goods train passes r-l, passenger train l-r. Recording close to the swansea - paddington main line in cardiff.

Resonant reverb pop layers. Kind of a wood block mallet percussion quality. Might make a good menu sound effect for a game.

Not quite as fun as the title makes it sound but still a good hydraulic whooshing sound i made with my tascam dr-40x on a small tripod underneath my bed as i lifted and pushed down on the hydraulic hinge. Filtered and eq'd a bit for some room buzz.

Sounds of a 15-year-old dog with laryngal paralysis chewing on a rawhide bone in her crate. (very sad to me as lela is a beloved family member and near the end of her life, but maybe someone can put all this suffering and racket to good use. ) at about the 01:17 mm:ss mark, things get louder because i leaned the recorder up against her crate, near her face. Prior to that the mic was about 5' away, on my kitchen table. I apologize for any unexpected clangs. I didn't edit this file, just uploaded it. Good luck.
