Not quite as fun as the title makes it sound but still a good hydraulic whooshing sound i made with my tascam dr-40x on a small tripod underneath my bed as i lifted and pushed down on the hydraulic hinge. Filtered and eq'd a bit for some room buzz.

This sound was made from a shaving cream can that was running out of shaving cream. It was edited to sound like an air pressure release sound. Use it as a hydraulic sound or whatever you want. Credit would be nice but is not required.

Recorded this on a trip to a plastic injection factory; i really liked the buzzing background noise, too bad i wasn't able to record it without the voices or the other background noises.

This is te same sound of my excision bass version, on this one i included a lfo vibratoi dont think this sound will be useful but is a kind of funny sound to make.

This is a sample from the plug on the bottom of a shaving cream can getting pulled out and the resulting release of air pressure and shaving cream. If you're good enough at editing, you can make this into an explosion, a weapon, a hydraulic release, or some sort of gloopy lava bubbling sound, or anything else you can create with this. Feel free to use and edit this raw sample however you please. Credit would be nice but is not required. My forklift recorded using my phone at work. I just cut out and muted most of the ambience using goldwave (http://www. Goldwave. Com/) to make it more just the hydraulics. If you cut out sections, scramble them and fool around with the speed in the sound, i think you can get a great variety of pneumatic and robot-sounding sounds out of it.

Class 52 “western” diesel-hydraulic locomotive, d1015 “western champion”, powered by two maybach md655 units (each developing 1,350 bhp). Recorded at cardiff central railway station, south wales, uk, 27 october 2007. Background station noises are also recorded, “western champion” is heard with the maybachs idling whilst the locomotive is at rest. The change in engine pitch is when “western champion” accelerates away from the station pulling a train of eight coaches. Recorded, hand held, using built-in microphone to a pentax opti 750z digital camera.

Departing train "industrial" sounds. Recorded at train station in modrice, near to brno, czr. Audio includes very organic industrial clatter, vibrations and hydraulics sounds. Recorded with tascam recorder + tripod + windscreen. ---in case you use any of my sounds, i will be happy to be informed, although it is not necessary. Here are the sounds i recorded:- the "loose parts" sounds were a slightly unscrewed valve on a trumpet. - the hydraulic leg-lifting noise was a hatch door opening on a van. - the metal foot hitting the ground was me banging on a metal garage door. - the humming engine noise (it's quiet) was a roll of duct tape spun on a wooden board. - the various other clanks and pops were the same trumpet noises, just edited a bunch. One day while playing the mobile game crossy road, i my sound being used for one of the characters. If you end up using my sound, let me know! i'd love to know what kind of things it's being used in. This is called "three-legged robot walker with loose parts" because it was a foley assignment for my sound design course years ago. This was one of the obscure things the professor gave the class that we had to interoperate and create using only our own recorded/edited foley effects. The class voted on the best one, and mine turned out to be the winner.

Every saturday morning workers roll the large garbage bin down the driveway at our apartment and dump it into the garbage truck. A pressurized sound made from a very simple source - my own mouth. Filtering and stretching gives it a convincing effect of a hydraulic release. May be compatible with sounds of medical machines.
