Lifting some breadbox sized rocks and dropping them on softball sized rocks. Also rubbing rocks of various sizes together.

Spinning 3 inch diameter x 1/8 inch thick aluminum disc on a granite plate. Recorded in stereo with an edirol r44 recorder and rode nt4 microphone.

Picking up and dropping a porcelain mug onto the top of a toilet for an effect of placing a mug on a countertop.

Penny dropping on granite countertop, three times. Single coin falling, clattering, sliding on smooth surface. High pitch metallic tinkling, clink, scrape. Recorded on zoom h2n, in home kitchen.

Small creek on a trail up to granite mountain on snoqualmie pass. A smaller trickle layered on top with eq to get rid of freeway noise. Recorded with x/y mics on a zoom h2n.

Bell noise made by placing a salt/pepper shaker's metallic lid on a piece of paper and pushing it into backwash guard on my granite counter top. Recorded with tascam dr-07 mkii handheld device at 16-bit 44. 1khz.

I recorded using a zoom h6 with an xy mic and foam screen and tripod. I sharpened a knife on a granite rock in front of the mic. I started sharpening the mic at a slow pace and then a fast pace. Recorded for a school project for a sfx library.
