This is one of the original tubular bells used by mike oldfield, possibly for the 1999 tour. Note: this bell is only a dummy bell. It was stuffed with foam and fitted with a transducer to trigger a sample. I took the foam out and gave it a thwack! great fun but it sounds absolutely terrible in my opinion.

This is one of those kitchen trash cans with a lid that pops open when you step on it. One time i stepped on it a little too hard and the lid bonked against the wall and made this great sound that i then had to record. Stereo 24bit w/ a sony pcm-d50.
This is the sync pulse generated by the monotron that is used to sync it's clock to other monotrons. If you send this to your monotron via computer software sequencer (daw), you can sync the monotron to your host sequencer (i've been doing this with ableton live). It works great.
Owl hooting: you can hear a very distinct owl sound created through foley by lowing air into folded hand. An almost glissando of pitch is present to create a realistic feel. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg. Great for a night-time scene and to fill up atmosphere an ambiences.

I was out on the marsh edge when i could hear a strange noise in the dark. It turned out to be ice breaking up in the tidal flow. A great test for the new pair of em172 mics. In the parabolic, olympus ls-5 recorder.

I got bored and decided to do a little experiment by sampling my old harmonica. They're not that great but i hope someone finds use out of them. They were recorded with my computer mic. Not a whole lot of processing was done other than normalization and noise removal. Do what ever you want with them.
