All my sounds were created for a motioncomic i created called: kay & gojiah. . . I did not create these from scratch, but instead, remixed stock sounds of different roars, growls, breathing, etc. And fiddled with their settings until i got a sound i felt satisfied with. I thought the best thing to do with them after the project was done is to share. So, no need to give me credit. Sound of water from a public bathroom. Sounds as white noise filtered with a high pass filter. Recorded with a zoom h2 (cardioid polar pattern, medium sensitivity and at 20 cm) in a public bathroom of the building 54 of the universitat pompeu fabra in barcelona.

Bells, drone and soft pad played on a usb midi keyboard triggering through a daw non sample based soft synths with non default parameter settings.

Multiple train whistles in distance with lovely ambient echo. Recorded with griffin italk mic and ipod.

Two muted elevator floor bells and doors slide open. Wide ambiance. The weirdness at the beginning is the natural beginning provided when recording with an ipod. Griffin italk mic.

Mountainside forest, high elevation, thunderstorms in the vicinity. Recorded using a sound professionals ms-tfb-2 binaural headset microphone worn in my ears and their 12vdc power box connected to a griffin usb imic and laptop running audacity. +6db digital gain applied.

Excellent if lo-fi recording of three voices, two male and one female singing and building one note at a time a major chord triad, saying, "hello," thrice. I use it as a ring tone. Recorded with an ipod and griffin italk mic.

Two mourning doves: one close, one far distant, in a mating call and response. Pretty clean, spring pre-air conditioner pollution season background with light birdsong way back. Recorded @ 8khz with a griffin italk mic to a recently refurbished 20gb 3rd generation ipod - my favorite lo-fi field recording / interview rig. If you have a recording device on your person, you get a lot of stuff you'd otherwise miss altogether. This rig helps me get those things too ephemeral to capture with a stereo pair; sounds i would regret not having at all. I keep it on my belt 90% of the time. Just in case.
