Created with a doepfer a-100 modular synthesizer sequenced by a korg sq-1 processed by a zoom multistomp ms-70cdr guitar multi-fx pedal, using the particle and hd reverb. Audio source is a self-resonating, modulated doepfer a-108 vcf8. The reverbs ran in series. The manual states that the particle reverb is based on the line6 m9 particle verb. A seven note scale (c c# d# f f# g# a#) over separate octaves. Some notes repeat in the same octave, but are slightly different samples. Each note starts on the grid of 100bpm. Think maybe a sabbath type of riff, low gain distortion but enough of an edge to call it thick/heavy. Probably better split into a smaller segment. Number 95 – flange harmonics g to d – harmonic noise which you could probably use smaller pieces of to signal an alarm/warning type of sound.

A rickenbacker 4003 playing a melodic lick. I played the bass connected directly to a motu 828mkii. I recorded using logic running under os x 10. 10 yosemite on a mac mini. I used fission to trim the beginning and ending and perform normalization. Note: this is a replacement for sound #328627 which i had mistakenly uploaded as a stereo file.

Made a quick drum loops designed to have guitar, vocals, any mid range instrument or sound source sit nicely with it. It's a recording i have made accidentally during a rock band's rehearsal. The zoom h2 was used as a microphone for vocalist. I have accidentally caused some feedback squealing. When i managed to get rid of it i said "pardon". This sound made me laugh. Recorded with a zoom h2 plugged into a guitar amplifier. Normalized and converted to flac using audacity. Enjoy.

After i recorded the bass i decided to go with an "airy" guitar with a lot of reverb in the chords. I added electric guitar and a synth-choir as well. Electrical hum created by my guitar lead resting on the table top while connected to a line 6 box going into my laptop. The line 6 software was also giving it lots of 'cavernous hall' reverb. Quite stereo too. It is a g as far as i can tell but slightly sharp so try shifting the pitch to get it in tune with other instruments.

In this record you can hear the noise of the chain of one bicycle being pedaled. Is like a hum. It is a sound object used in the sonic ensemble soundscape for the sound creation lab project. It was recorded using a zoom h4 recording device at roc boronat street, barcelona. The recording was edited with a fade in and out effect.

In celebration of gab to return this weekend. With a lot of love and less talenti created the words. I composed the loop. I play the drums (reaper reasyndr)i play the bass(hohner steinberger copy) and guitar (sg light) - both using a hx effects with just the built in sounds-built with reaper 4. 78 on 20181031.

This is a bass sound, not tuned but it is a perfect loop withouth clicks. It has no panning effect - i will do that on another sample. It is not tuned - use a program that tunes the samples to tonal. You must use it only in one octave from c5 to c6. In other octaves sounds not like a normal bass.

A soundscape from my debut album, "summer crickets. . . " takes several field recordings of rural summer ambiance and mixes them with my own acoustic guitar strumming. I also mixed in some am radio vocal snippets, resulting in a unique ambient piece that relaxes and unsettles simultaneously. -recorded entirely with tascam dr-03 at 48 k / 24 bit.

I recorded a transformer with a guitar pickup then broadcasted it from a speaker, then re-recorded this sound, waving my mic at the speaker (like a light sabre). Add a bit of chorus and voila, it's that light sabre sound. Could be a bit more beefy, you can add some sub or something, anyhows, hope some of yous get some use out of it anyways innit???!.

This is a field recording from inside the "experience gallery" of the musical instrument museum (phoenix, arizona). The experience gallery is full of gongs, bells, drums, gamelan instruments, stringed instruments, marimbas, xylophones, and even a theremin. A schoolgroup of children were let loose at the time of this recording. Recorded in stereo with a sony pcm-d50 (onboard mics, wide pattern) while in motion.
