This is a homemade sound recording. I used sound effects created by myself and put them together in this recording. It is supposed to represent a shooting range, with the sounds of a. 50 cal anti-materiel rifle, an m16 on 3-rounds burst, a desert eagle. 50 ae, and a 9 mm pistol. Features loading sounds as well.

Close range pistol goes off. A bit dry, somewhat flangered.

24/48 mono recording of the sound of a fnx. 45 acp being shot slowly in a gun range 9 times. During the recording there are a couple shell casing that can be heard hitting the floor. There is a long break after the final shot before the target is recalled on the automatic rail system. There is a slightly echo-y natural reverberation to the gun range. Other than that the recording is very quiet in-between shots and each shot sound was allowed to dissipate before another round was fired.

Recorded a blender and then applied some effects like reverb via xiaomi red mi 5a.

Multiple gunshots recorded at an indoor gun range. Many of the shots are from an ak47, including single shots and full auto. There is some background noise, but there are some good clear shots in there that can be easily cut out and used. Unfortunately the original recording is only mp3 and the recorder had auto-gain set so some shots are recorded louder than others, but there are still some usable shots in there.

This is an attempt to create the sound of a high velocity handgun, the five seven by twenty eight milimeter, in which the first shot is normal, just edited for the echo associated with a larger caliber handgun, and second shot is editied slightly to mimick the effect of a "silencer". An m4 carbine being fired in short bursts, great for supressive fire. Created in audacity by taking a. 223 gunshot (recorded on a private firing range), adding more bass and amplifying the sound, and then adding shells dropping by adding in the sound of rattling silverware, and finally adding a bit of echo to finish it off. Features that heavy bass thump of a powerful assault rifle with shells ejecting and falling to the ground. I couldn't find any other sound quite like this so i created one. Enjoy!.

Made in ableton live this time, it is a multilayered loop consisting of recordings of an ak47, a 30 caliber 1918, and an m60 machine gun to make a rediculous powerful sound. A very short clicky kick drum with the high end reduced is added before the initial gunshot to make it punch more, otherwise it would sound weaker. There are two mechanical bolt sounds, one covering the upper mid range, and the other covering the extreme highs. Shell ejections and two reverb tails were mixed in at the end with some simple automated panning to make it move around the stereo field. The tempo slowly decreases to simulate barrel heating. Lots of processing. The layers were eq'ed, then ran into a software amp that is gently distorting the low and mid range. Then smashed together with ott multiband upward/downward compression to bring out the details. A maximizer was used to bring up the loudness some. Enjoy.

Fireworks recorded amidst the buildings of an apartment complex. Lowpassed around 1khz. Slightly expanded dynamic range. I cut as many incidental noises as i could hear on my headphones (cars, neighbors, etc) but there's still some residual hum from an electrical box that was nearby as well as wind. This is the second version without the mechanical bolt. Maybe can be used for bolt action rifles. Made this is ableton live, it is multilayered with the top end of a 9mm and the low/mid range of an ak47. Another carbine sound is faded in after the transients to give more sustain. Two reverbs fade in and out creating a smooth transition and blend. A little white noise is added for subtle sheen and air. All the layers were grouped together into a single band compressor and ran through serum fx distortion and then into a krush distortion plugin for added fatness. A blending reverb was used to glue the sounds into the same space and ran into a final transient designer which is adding a little more snap and punch and clipping the excess transients off. Enjoy.

Shell casings being dropped onto a tiled floor. I got some shell casings from a local shooting range and recorded the sound of various sized casings bouncing on a tiled floor. I used a usb condenser mic (samson co1u pro) with audacity. The section of floor i dropped the shells onto was surrounded by acoustic panels to dampen the echos. A couple times the casing bounced into the mic stand, but i've left them in because they're still useful. There was some background noise caused by my computer which i removed with audacity.
