Zoom h4n 2018 - onboard microphones. This is an unprocessed recording of the pilot light being repeatedly lit and then extinguished on a natural gas fire globe. This would be perfect for the sound of any gas device being lit such as a grill, boiler, pool heater, water heater, stove, oven, etc. . . Please rate if you like this sound :). This is my voice. I was trying to recreate a similar sound to those of the shrieking nazgul creatures in lord of the rings. They are referred to as different things but overall a creepy, evil, raspy, breathy type screeching sound. I created this with a type of practiced scream on a blue yeti usb condenser microphone. I recorded in audacity and added some reverb, fade in, and fade out. It was originally for a video game voice over audition. I also have the original with no fx if needed. My example/inspiration were the creatures in lord of the rings, fellowship of the ring. They are also called the fell riders and the black wings (when they ride the fell beasts), as well as the shadows, the servants of sauron, and the nine servants of the lord of the rings.
