This is probably one of the best snares i have made yet. Hard transient, tape saturated, and squashed to bits, when played with very bright sounds and heavy bass, this really can handle it, and cut through.

Got around to putting a swish noise on my punchy_evolution 2 snare and the result was alright, then i compressed it a little bit and put a little bitcrushing on it to maximize the volume.

You may don't believe me, but i made this sound from raw roland tr-909 snare sample. You can use it to produce hard and modern breakbeat-style sound.

I made this sequenced with fl studio.

This sound was made by looping a snare and speeding it up to make a pitch, bc pitch is allegedly just fast rhythm. I made this on july 18 2019 and then forgot about it, so it might not have been a snare that i looped. But it was either a garageband default sound or something i recorded. Please show me anything you make w/ it!.

I initially created this snare using lmms ( linux multimedia studio ) and a single instance of the zynaddsubfx plugin. There were many effects and experiments done before exporting as an audio stem. Next i opened this stem ( single snare hit ) in bitwig studio and made a few copies of it and timestretched and chopped and then joined together in a group track the parts i liked to make the whole sound. Final effects included saturation, equalization , sidechain-limiting and compression.

Loop i made while producing a track, layered a bunch of drums, carved out the bottom end and synthesized my own, and then compressed it all together, and excited a bit.

Samsara ekd was used for the kick, sent through eq and a couple of distortion plugins. Black noh snare was used for the snare, with a resonator and reverb placed on top of it, as well as eq and compression. Hcx was used for the hihats, with one eq plugin placed on it. The master channel got brickwalled (or bricked) using compressivecm vst.

Drum: pearl sensitone steel 14" x 5. 5". Head: genera dry. Mic configuration: mono room, two overheads [spaced pair], batter head, reso head. I did basic eq cuts and boosts with some compression. No limiting used. Each articulation was carefully played and gain adjusted to seem as natural as possible. My goal was to also create a multi sampled snare drum that could be drag and dropped into a sampler with ease. A heartbeat sound i created. Fairly consistent through most of it, and then speeds up into heart-attack mode about 30 seconds from the end. To make it, i took a kick-drum sample and a snare-drum sample, and made a pattern of kick-snare, kick-snare, kick-snare, over and over. I then eq'd them to be less distinct and drum-like, added tape saturation to increase the low-end thumping, a small chorus effect and some compression to get rid of the drums' attack. . . Basically just over-processed the hell out of it. Then i used a plugin called wok m-st to get a fake hard-panned stereo effect. My goal was to make it sound like your heartbeat sounds in your ears when you've been running too fast for too long. I think it sounds cool.

This is a quick beat i made in fl studio 20. The drums and melody are my voice sent through a whole bunch of effects to create the sound i desired. Hope you like it :).

This first loop in series is a simple, beat in 4/4 time run at 140 bpm. It features an extremely thick bass sound with general techno patterns you might hear in normal techno music. The pack is aimed for general use in any type of techno, trance music. The loop was created mainly with reaktor's arobic.

This series is done through layering and processing many samples of drum sounds i synthesised using various plugins namely xoxo's vst's and zynaddsubfx mixed with some old hardware samples i made a long time ago. There are 4 packs of the same series : perc snare kick and hats all using the same process.

I used bdx for the kick, sent through disto-fx and various eq plugins. Cymbalistic was used for the hihats, with further eq and gating placed on it. The snare was from a free sample pack (i can't remember the name of) sent through a resonator, eq plugins and some soft-clippers to give it a bigger sound. Clipmax was used on the master channel.

A heartbeat sound i made, complete with some gurgling, blood-rushing sounds. Just uploaded a version without the gurgling, in case you prefer the way that sounds. To make this, i took a kick-drum sample and a snare-drum sample, and made a loop of kick-snare, kick-snare, kick-snare, over and over. After that, i eq'd out the more drum-like parts of each sample, added reverb to dull it, a chorus plugin and some compression to remove some of the drums' attack. . . Basically processed the hell out of them. To get the blood gurgling sound, i filled a water-bottle almost all the way full and turned it sideways, so i had a massive air-bubble floating around. I then tilted the bottle back and forth in front of my blue yeti usb condenser mic, so you could hear the air-bubble swishing. I had to be pretty gentle, because if you rock the horizontal bottle too much, the bubble moves too fast and makes a fake-sounding "gloomp. ". When i was happy with it, i mixed the heartbeat sound and the gurgling sounds so they'd work well together. Both the sounds were in mono, so i used a free plugin called wok ms-t on both of them to create a fake hard-panned stereo effect. I wanted it to sound like you'd been running, and were hearing the heartbeat in your ears. I think it turned out pretty cool. .
