This is a sound of vintage soviet transistor organ junost 75. I have sampled one tone per octave in its 5-octave range, which is sufficient to re-create the original sound (tested on ensoniq asr-10, korg tr6 and casio ctk-900). But if you use only the middle sample, you can still simply create a great combo organ sound. This sample has ben recorded while all 4 registers were switched on. For succesful re-creation i recommend to slightly decrease filter cut-off, to add some resonance and fast vibrato. Enjoy!.

This a simple sound i recorded from my "master lock hard case" combination lock. I used audacity for noise reduction and editing. I couldn't find a good, free combination lock sound, so i decided to make my own :).

Fireball explosion with natural rolling decay and delayed single reflection. The pyrotechnic explosion took place in the forest at el tejon ranch in late march 2013 during a film shoot. The sound was recorded using a schoeps mk41 supercardioid condenser microphone running into a sound devices 442/722 mixer/recorder combo. I cleaned up extraneous background noise using pro tools and izotope rx. Enjoy!.

Needed a really good bar drop for a film we where doing. This is a nice combo of a dead iron bar drop to a sawdust and straw wood floor with the addition of a metal bar dropped on wood. A little drop of a light bulb to finish the sound off. One drop not repeated. Created by paul villeneuve and dominic kaiser / stories by the river.

This sound sample is part of the free collective soundbank "negative mass", which is comprised of around 60 royalty free samples and field recordings used by some of the artists featured in the "new chronologies of sound" collection to compose their sound works. "new chronologies of sound" is a sound art collection that proposes to generate debate on issues related to the ways in which lockdown affected our ways of listening, perception of time and work habits, by developing a collection of sound works based on field recordings, which reflect upon those matters. This artistic research project gathers artists and researchers from all over the globe — agf (de), budhaditya chattopadhyay (in), bj nilsen (se), diana combo (pt), gustavo costa (pt), hugo branco (pt), kyoka (jp), laura romero (es), lawrence english (es), matthew herbert (uk), miguel isaza (co) and natalia valencia zuluaga (co)— encompassing a broad diversity of aesthetics, geographies, processual latitudes and conceptual attitudes, which range from pure field recordings and processed soundscapes down to more musical or compositional uses of found sounds. + info: https://lifeisavicnic. The sound of an ice maker on a water cooler doing a few cycles. My amazing aunt harriet amazes again by sending me this sound of her ice maker. She taped her old iphone to the inside of the door on her new water cooler/ice maker combo, and let the ice maker run for a few cycles. She even typed up a description of what it does for me so i could post this here on freesound:the water is pumped from a reservoir underneeth the ice tray into a tray above that houses 9 pegs. The water is then cooled to freezing, while the 9 pegs are simultaneously cooled to hold the ice in place. More water is then pumped into the tray to thicken each piece of ice. After a few minutes, excess water is dumped back into the reservoir and ice falls from the pegs into the ice tray. The process then repeats. Enjoy and use however you like!.
