I'm back with another binaural. I am attempting to capture the sounds that remind me of the places i have visited. This is a recording of fuertaventura, in the canary islands, inland in the desert, morning with the wind blowing the sand, desert mountains all around just like the wild west. I upgraded my binaural mics to roland cs-10em from my homemade ones. I'm happy if you can notice the difference. I like that they are combined mics and earphones with little windbooms. This sound was recorded in the upf's bar. It was recorded using a zoom h2 portable recorder, placing the recorder next to a coffee machine when somebody was ordering a coffee. We can hear all the tipical sounds of the machine like entering the coins, dropping water, heating the coffee. . .
That was originally a boring industrial water heating system furnace. So i fooled around with audio effects to give that result that sounds like one of those old low budget science fiction movies or even some cartoons. It can be used in many type of stuff, it's up to your imagination.

The original recorded captured the apartment's heating system. I used noise reduction, then normalized the waveform. This sound is free to use whenever and wherever.

An aeroplane can be heard in the distance from 7 min 30 secchurch bells strike 4am at 8 min 26 sec. Recorded with a stereo pair of akg c1000s mics into a motu8 audio interface. No eq or other processing.
