Large river rapids running strongly after winter rain. Recorded approximately fifty feet above water level. The river flows and turns through a narrow, high, partly exposed bedrock canyon which likely amplifies the sound of the rapids. The first nine seconds are unedited. The last two seconds have a fade out applied. In summer you can walk where the centre channel is in winter, so this is a lot of water moving swiftly down the cowichan river to the salish sea. It's winter on vancouver island. The heavy and frequent rains engorge the lakes & streams and they flow into the cowichan river. Engorged by seasonal precipitation this large heritage river churns into a narrow bedrock canyon, turns, and comes out of the turn charging. This is where the recording was made, at river level. Recorded in january with a zoom h1 n, audio quality 48,000 hz. Unedited.

Song for a game i did sound for!.

Ambience of flowing water or heavy rain. Created with the korg electribe 2 using various white noise sources. These are filtered, the filters itself are modulated by a random modulation. Post-processing was done in cubase.

A sample shout "and blood will flow" for the more creepy creative talents out there, recorded in a dry room with some sound effects (chorus, saturation, compression) to make the sound production-ready. In this sample reverb is already excistent.
