Ambient sounds of sea and people and amusements at herne bay, kent, uk in the last week of july 2021. Things were probably a little quieter than usual because of coronavirus even if the official lockdown ended a week or so earlier.
My recording of the dawn-chorus in bishopstone glen, a small steep-sided valley with a trickling stream heading out towards the north kent coast near herne bay. Conditions at 5:30 am on monday 18 may 2020 were warm and gentle. Recording was made using tascam dr-07 mk ii.
