I was in my room with my blue yeti microphone and i noticed that i can make a sort of whistle/shrill with my teeth. Edited with audacity. Soundscape of some pads. . Strange how the midi was created. . Used a granular device to create some sort of glitchy effect, then just converted that "melody" to midi in ableton, added stock ableton sound. And post processed to give it pad and ambience.

I was trying to make some floaty meditation type music like people use for hypnotherapy and yoga and stuff but accidentally made something fractionally too menacing. To me it sounds like something you might have in the background of a scene where viewer is contemplating an unexpected cosmic vastness or an ancient alien artefact or something otherwise mindblowing but also potentially existentially threatening.

I made this using my alto recorder. It is quite long but can easily be shortened. I just realized that i forgot to take the breath sound out at the end!! sorry! i will do better next time. I created this sound using lmms and 2 instances of it's zynaddsubfx plugin and a kick using the kicker plugin and some ladspa effects. I tried to emulate the "inception braaam " sound the best i could. Hopefully someone can find this useful to use in their project.

Recorded in a studio with a sennheiser 416, very close proximity. < 1' away. Through an mbox directly into protools, edited to remove head/tail ambience. You might hear me breathing in there, very low.
