I recorded the klick of my fuse box for a scene in which sombody switched the light of in an audiance-room.

Small hairdryer with on/off switch. Recorded on a zoom h2n - wav44. 1khz/24bitx/y.

I had recorded a click from the esc-button on my keyboard. It´s recorded with the microphone from my laptop.

Klick of a small tv, turning off.

This is a random synthesized click-sound followed by a reverb with 200 ms pre-delay. I used cubase roomworks and roomworks se for the reverb, synth 1 for the click and various plugins to master the samples a little. Still they sound pretty unprocessed so you can edit them to fit your needs.

The whole precedure: switch-on-klick. Heats up. Hisses with a few nice whistling melodies (from 00:27 on). Boils. Automatic switch off. Close stereo recording (10cm) with sony pcm-10. Pretty low background noise (kitchen ambience).
