The sound of someone tying a knot with some string. Recorded with an se4 condenser mic.

Tying shoelaces: a close-up listen to a very subtle sound when two pieces of string is being tied around each other. You can hear the fumbling of hands swooshing the string around each other and a harder sound of when the knot is being pulled so that it doesn't come loose. Can be used for dramatics and overexaggerating. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg.

Recorded with sennheiser 8020 in a self made jecklin disk setup to sounddevices 477. Movo wst80 windprotection. I erased the few passing cars but otherwise no filtering. There is of course a lot of low energy which could be filtered or used. . .

Soft bristle brush detangling knotty hair, at different speeds of combing.

Coming hair: you can hear the typical crunch of tangled hair being combed out. You can hear the hairbrush gliding through the hair. It varies in tempo and rhythm to add realism to this sound. As she struggles with the knots it is slow but picks up tempo as her hair becomes less tangled. Recorded with the zoom h6, rode ntg in a recording studio. Great for any make-over montage or scene.

The sound of a weighted object hanging from a thick braided rope. Birds can be heard in background. Recorded on the zoom h4n with a sennheiser me66 shotgun mic. Unprocessed. Recorded on november 8th, 2014 in orlando, fl.

Recorded with zoom h4n (stereo). A 37' sailboat making a hissy wake in probably 8-12 knot breeze.
