I tried to replicate the sound of a laser gun.

This is a single shot version of a star wars-type blaster i made by mixing the sound of a cable tap with a gunshot.

Though i generally expect attribution for my sounds, almost every aspect of this sound was the product of dpren's superb "scifi gun - mega charge cannon". My only contribution was adding a bit more oomph to when the gun fires so it feels wrong to take any credit for their genius. A laser noise created for my science fiction sitcom. The base was just a note from a vst synth (i can't remember which) and then a variety of pitch shifts, time stretches and layers of reverb until it sounded right.

This sounds were a mix of different recorded with tascam dr07,the sounds were achieved from:. --blowing on a sponge--swiping a finger on the wall--waving a cardboard for the low sound--dragging a brush on the wall--air sounds with pich bend effects and modulation fx. The sounds were mixed and edited in adobe audition.

As already stated, he term, "pyew!" does not refer to a funky smell. Think of it as the sound bernadette (from big bang theory) makes when she's playing video games and trying to phonetically approximate the single shot of a ray gun or laser weapon. This file contains a whopping 17 different individual sounds each separated by 3 seconds of silence, and each with a different lengths and sonic qualities.
